Lasts a long time, looks exactly like picture, just doesn't project out much light, really shouldn't be called a spotlight, unless your spot is 5"- 12" in front of it.

Unfortunately this thing is very dim, I bought it to light a thermometer in the back yard but it's so dim it's hard to even see where it is when its "light" is on. I bought another solar powered spot light with a dedicated solar panel that's very bright so it can be done. So I would not recommend this one unless you require an expensive rock for your garden.

I like the idea of this. If it is sunny all day, it will work at night. However, if it is shady and not in direct light all day; it will not put out much light at night if any.

I wasted my money this time. The rock is in a full sun location and you can just barely see a little glow coming from it at night. Not what I expected from the ad.
This is definitely NOT a spot light.

Works great and also better than the Malibu rock solar light. It has a bigger and brighter lens.

This worked for a week then unless you held the on button down on the bottom of it, it would no longer work. Thought maybe that it wasn't getting enough sun, but when moved to get direct sunlight all day, it still didn't work.

when i got it. it did not work. the on and off button was not working, my son-inlaw thought he fixed it. it worked for about a week or so. know it don't work again and me return time is up. other wise it is cool

Gave as gift yr ago Dec - [not the key hider] and very pleased w/it. Sits on brick wall 4ft high 'accenting' only the 4 AMBER path lights in place at steps.

Only aggravation is U have to have a 'tiny Philips head screwdriver' to remove battery for power charging - a real pain - but since the original [included] and following Moonrays* hold up nearly 10 months plus, it is an aggravation we live with.

We use only Moonrays* brand NiCd in all indoor/outdoor sensor lights as great energy savers.

which may not fall under the Amazon Free Super Saver* ship but well worth the cost as charges both NiCd and NiMh - which Duracell charger does not!

This is better suited to provide light for walking on your sidewalk. I bought five to shine on a manger for Christmas and five of these "spotlights" were inadequate.

I had ordered 2 of these...one of them worked(sort of) gave off very little light. I sent both back for a refund.
