This is a great product in theory. Solar panels (2) on top recharge two batteries. Light sensor on top determines when LED lights turn on and off.

PROS:
1. Three LED lights.. use very little energy; no issues with draining battery or not having direct sunlight for a few days.
2. Solar panels recharge the already low energy emitting LEDs; little to no maintenance (changing batteries).
3. Black casing makes for good contrast against the illuminated background.

CONS:
1. Totally NOT waterproof. There are seams that split this product in half and easily can leak water to the interior. (I have caulked every crevice to resolve this.. I want something that will last more than a year.).
2. Only three LED lights. LEDs do not provide high output, I suppose it is fine, however a few more LEDs would have better.
3. More reflective background needed. Ours is getting mounted against the house.. the black panel does not reflect light (So what I did was mount an 8x11 paper on the back to reflect/disperse the light better).
4. Better off throwing out the rechargeable batteries immediately when you get them.. they are CRAP.

IN SUMMARY:
Only one I have seen on the market that is illuminated; if this is what you want just make sure you are okay with spending time on waterproofing the unit and spending $ on replacing the provided rechargeable batteries.

this product really disappointed me. It was not bright enough at night, and the sign seemed bigger in the picture. I purchased the lighted address sign because my husband has health issues, and i wanted a bright address sign to help the paramedics easily find my house at night. I was very dissapointed in this product!!!!!!!!!!!

This item worked great...for a couple of months than totally went out, maybe because we had a couple of downpours and it must not be water proof, I even recharged the batteries with no luck, I bought new batteries and still it did not work. It was great for the small amount of time it did work but didn't last long. Had to return it.

It has not worked half the time since I've had it. It may come on once in a while, I would not recommend buying this product.

Its planned well but is not water resistant/proof.
The light from 3 Led's is barely sufficient for the characters to be read from 10' away. Adding internal reflection may work but I did not try it.

The numbers are to small to see well even in the day time. It is not bright at all so nearly impossible to see at night from even a short distance away.

After a period of time in the sun the address mount was suppose to light at night. After having it outside for four weeks, it has not lighted for the first time.

This an incredibly cheaply made item. As I carefully pried the frame off per the instructions a tab instantly broke. As I gently tried to push the stakes into fairly soft ground the tabs holding the legs on broke. I was not rough with the product and it fell apart. Also cloudy days in Seattle aren't light enough to charge the crummy solar panels. Total waste of money. It's going in the garbage.

The product arrive missing one rectangular piece that covers the holes holding the street numbers. I contacted the manufacturer over a week ago, informing them of this & asking for the missing part to be sent me or that I would dispute the credit card charge when it hits my statement. To date, I have heard nothing & will be disputing your credit card charge.

It is very attractive for daytime, but the little lights glow so bright they obscure the numbers in the dark, so it is completely useless at night.
