This book was written by a self-proclaimed expert moose hunter; however, if he's really an expert and if he really has some secrets for moose hunting success, it's not apparent from anything you'll read in this book. The book is more a compendium of self-guided hunts the author has taken with friends and family over several years. If you have any hunting experience at all, you'll benefit little from the author's superficial opinions, and you'll find even less practical information about how to outfit, physically prepare, and actually conduct a moose hunt in Alaska.
