5.0 out of 5 stars Go Lightning!
After seeing this ONCE in the store, we had to have it for our 11 month old. He LOVES Cars and Lightning McQueen. Initially he wanted nothing to do with it, but after buying 200 extra balls from Toys R Us (they are the same size as the balls it came with), he LOVES playing in it. Our older sons (8 & 9) will put the balls in the top and our 11 month old will giggle as they...

3.0 out of 5 stars DON'T PAY TWICE THE PRICE HERE!!!
Toys-R-Us, Target, and K-Mart all have this same item for $49.99 with no shipping costs in stores and usually even online when spending over $50. The toy however is made of the same cheap plastic used in the cheap toobs you lay on in the pool or floaties you blow up for your kids. If your child, like mine, is very energetic and is rough with their toys they will likely...

Our older sons (8 & 9) will put the balls in the top and our 11 month old will giggle as they go round and round and eventually in to the pit with him. Definitely a must buy for any active child. The 50 balls it comes with are a little flimsy, but the extra balls we bought are MUCH better quality, and not a bad price at all.

Got this toy for three boys aged 10 months, 3 years and 5 years. Even though, the toy is labeled for ages 3+, the 10 month old had the most fun with this product. Hard to blow up with and without a pump. Would be better if there was more balls.

I bought this for my friend's baby girl's birthday gift.
It came pretty fast and it was wonderful condition.
BUT, if anyone want to buy this, you need an electric pump to put it together.
It's pretty hard job to do without that pump.
It's just look same as the picture, but I wish it has more balls.
I read another review, it says the seperate balls are a little bit big.
So anyone knows which balls are the same size?
I had good discount price, I'm so pleased about this purchased.
Good gift for kids, I want to recommend ^^

The toy however is made of the same cheap plastic used in the cheap toobs you lay on in the pool or floaties you blow up for your kids. If your child, like mine, is very energetic and is rough with their toys they will likely pop or cause a leak. Though easy and usually cheap to fix or patch, not worth spending more than the $50 you would pay in a store. This seller is ripping people off selling for twice the price and you will still need an electric pump to get it set up. Shop around, overall if you have $100 to spend on a toy there are so many toys of better quality to spend your money on this Christmas.

I bought this for my 1st grandson, 1yrs old. I did purchase extra balls before I gave it to him. He was excited and had great fun. Unfortunately, we had to add more air to it before the day was over. It seemed to leak air slowly. After not even a week I sent it back. For the price of these things they should be made with better, heavier plastic. This is beachball material. Don't spend a lot on these toys.

The kids love it! I did order some extra balls and they were bigger than the 50 balls it came with...so the bigger ones have a tougher time go through the top to come down. My 18 month old and 4 year old have so much fun with it.

We bought this ball pit for my 15mo old boy for Christmas - and it is definitely a hit. He loves to sit in it and throw balls out, hide toys in it, and watch the balls spin around the outside track. Couple things you may want to know -- the actual pit is pretty shallow, so it really is better suited for smaller kids, I think larger kids would just be pushing the balls out all the time with their size. The balls that come with it are pretty flimsy, and 50 is not even close to being enough. We bought a package of 250 balls at the toy store and it's perfect and a lot sturdier balls. To inflate - there are 8 different chambers that have to be blown up. Our electric pump was not the right size, so it took forever to inflate -- I would definitely recommend making sure that you have a right-sized electic pump to blow this bad boy up. Couple more things -- this toy is huge. The measurements are for the base - but the outside track makes it even wider than that -- so just know, this thing takes up a lot of room, and with the amount of time it takes to inflate, it isn't going to be something you want to put up and take down all the time. Also, the bottom is not really padded, so putting it somewhere on carpet is probably best.

3.0 out of 5 stars Great toy for toddlers who like race cars, December 12, 2010

The best part of this ball pit is the track that winds around it. That is what makes it stand out from regular ball pits. The balls go around the track just fine which my son loves. We also found some cheap (dollar store) simple plastic cars -- a bit larger than match box cars-- do somewhat go around the track. The only problem is that since the track is only air-filled plastic its not strong enough to hold hot wheels or match box type die cast cars. This frustrates my 18 month old. The ball pit is only big enough for 1 child at a time. My kid is 34" tall and can't stand up completely inside. You will need at least 250 balls to make it full and fun. Overall, he likes it. No problems with it holding air. Its a bit pricey for what it is (basically an inflatable baby pool with plastic balls in it). That's why I only give it 3 stars for value. Don't pay more than $50 for this toy. Its over priced on some websites. Shop around!

I got this toy for my son's 3rd birthday. I was really disappointed. The track that loops around it is only held on by velcro in a couple of places so it was constantly getting knocked off. After playing with it for an hour and not even being rough with it, it started deflating in the big red pool that holds the balls. It didn't come with patches. This didn't bother me much. He was so frustrated that every time he moved the track fell off that he wandered off to play with something else. I deflated the thing and stuck it in the closet where its sat for a month and no ones even asked to play with it. Cute idea if the track stayed on better
