A very practical solution for a problem which most citizens have no idea exists. Cold hands happen when riding a motorcycle in the winter. Yes Virginia, there are a few of us who ride year round, no matter where we are. The normal old school solution is to go with Hippo Hand covers or huge gloves or mittens. The HH are difficult if you need to adjust something on the bike, while moving. Difficult to get your hands back in the pocket. The huge gloves or mittens make using the handle bar switches very difficult. New school has electric grips or electric gloves ... I don't use either on my old, low amperage bikes.

These ugly ears keep the wind from exposing the back of your gloved hands and while silly looking, do a very good job up to about sixty miles per hour. Then they have a tendency of bending back and resting on either your brake or clutch lever. If you are riding at slower speed, no problem. If you are riding faster, you may want to add an aluminum bark buster bar for more support.

They were designed for an ATV but will work as I suggested on a bike - at lower speed. And they do a marvelous job of keeping your hands from coiling into a claw when you ride in the winter .

I'm kind of curious about these guards. I only give them four stars because I don't really know how they are going to react when riding a lot. I do have to say....they really look good on my bike, but as far as how they attach......don't know how that's gonna work out in the long run. They do cover a large area as far as protection from the wind and brush, but when the brush contacts them, I don't really know if they are going to stay in place or if I'm gonna have to constantly have to adjust them. They didn't cost that much, so I can afford to experiment with them. I did have to remove the velcro strap and re-adjust it in order to fit my bike. It did work out better. I would suggest that change to the makers if I thought it would do any good..lol. Hey...this design is a good idea...just needs a few lil' upgrades. They are still worth giving a try to someone looking for the protection at a lower cost.

Perfect for winter riding. Offer the best protection from the cold. If you 4 wheel or snow bike in the winter these are the ticket.

The handguards block the wind very good and gives my suzuki kingquad 750 a good look. They are also very universal since they have straps to tie down.

Easy to put on and off, look cool, keep hands & fingers warmer. I use these on my electric bikes. I bought the first pair last year and bought another pair recently because I liked them so much and have a few electric bikes.Riding in the winter at 30 miles and hour, fingers would get cold with gloves on and these really help keep the cold off your hands!

Got these for my father for Christmas. I was really happy with them and he loved them. Now I don't have to hear him say his hands are freezing.

These hand guards work great! They were easy to install on my motorcycle and the protection they offer is unmatched for the price. I used wire ties to keep the Velcro in place permanently.

I put the handguards on a Suzuki Eiger and a Yamaha Grizzly 350. The handguards kept the brush off of my wifes and my hands, they also shielded our hands from the wind thus helping to keep our hands a little warmer. The only downside I can find with these handguards is they tended to flop over the wrong way when exposed to 70+ mph cross winds which we recently experienced on our moose hunt (but what can you really expect). I added a zip tie out on the end through the two holes to help pinch the hand guards together, and I believe they performed better that way. No instructions come with them, but instructions really are not needed anyway (simple installation). Seems to be a good product for my intended use in Alaska.
