Fist off I would like to say I really like my Juice pack Air. The quality of case is excellent. Also the way they made the case makes it so when I'm playing games on my phone now I don't cover the speaker.
The size is perfect, but still its bigger than the plain old inCase slider I had but not by much. Still I find the size so much better than having to plug in some big old battery extender into the bottom of my phone.
As for battery life I get almost two days out of a charge now. Pretty nice going from just about 6 to 7 hours with just the phone battery alone. The only thing I have to gripe about is the charge and sync cord isn't the normal Iphone cord(They do provide you with one in the package though). It's like the mini usb that LG uses on their new phones.
All in all I would totally recommend this to anyone one who is looking to double their battery life on their Iphone 3G.

the mophie lasts a long time and is a great power source for the iphone. this left aside, it has a proprietary charging cable, flimsy case, and drumroll please....reduces your signal from full bars to 1-2 bars. and where i work, i get 2 bars...with the mophie i get no service. mophie, you should've fixed this problem before even coming to market...if i could i would give you -10 stars. bad bad product. you turned my iphone into an ipod touch with a camera. no pun intended.

I bought this as a gift, and the recipient loves it -- how it feels in his hand, the weight of it and the surface for gripping. He likes the extended battery life, but he wishes there was a way to tell how much charge there is left in the device, since the indicator on the iPhone only shows what charge is left on the phone itself. Also, he'd love a version that allowed you to attach a lanyard to it. Because his phone is bulkier now, it's hard for him to keep it in his pocket. He's already left his phone at a restaurant once due to this, and he'd never done that before with a regular case.

Before I received the Mophie Juice Pack Air, I was carrying around a battery that plugs into the bottom of my phone. It was effective, but extremely awkward. With the Mophie, my battery backup IS my iPhone case. When the battery on my iPhone is used up, I simply flip the switch on the Mophie. Now I have double the usage time on my iPhone between charges, and it's easy to carry!

The Mophie comes in four colors and works with 3G and 3GS. My only complaint is that the cases are not protective at all in the front. I would like to see a bit more padding in the front and I would like the case to be a lot less slippery, even the red one. The red case has a softer texture and is a bit less slippery than the other colors.

I have had my Mophie for two months. My husband has had one for a month. Neither of us have had problems with shocks, over heating, nor signal strength.

Wish list: I would love to see this case provide a way to carry my Pogo Stylus Ten One Design T1-AP25-102 Pogo Sketch Stylus for iPhone 3G, 3G S.

Alot of bad things to say. Admittedly, this is just a sexy device. The only way I wanted to go when getting a battery pack for my iPhone was with this case.
The first problems started when I tried to connect my iPhone to iTunes. Kept getting an error message that the phone was not recognizable. Or, the phone would just disappear from the DEVICES list entirely; and stop recharging. Only seemed to be an issue when connected to a computer, and not when connected to a wall charger (though DONT try to answer a call with the case on while charging with the wall charger, as there seems to be a nasty short resulting in a mild shock; and yes, on all Mophies I tried).
So called Apple. They explained it was an issue with the Mophie requesting too much power from that particular USB port (confirmed by trying on multiple computers with same result).
So I contacted Mophie. After 4 attempts at switching out the cable (which they claimed was almsot always the problem), and two replacements (the last of which was sent to me obviously used...as in nasty-I-dread-putting-my-iPhone-in-that-case), I decided a refund was best. Mophie was NOT easy to deal with in this regard either. I'd rather get a root canal without pain killers than deal with Mophie again.
If you want this device, beware. You may end up losing your ability to sync with your computer (Mac or PC) while the iPhone is in the Mophie (I also checked with Apple to confirm my iPhone wasnt the issue).
For something this simple not to work right, I have to advise against purchase. Keep looking folks (try Incase or Mili; though I have not yet).
HUGE disappointment.
