I looked to buy this the first time I saw it on a tech blog several weeks ago. It's a terrific piece to carry in my bag for those all too frequent times when my iPhone battery runs low. I've let it charge my phone several times and even used the phone while it was attached. It works as advertised.

What I love:
- The exterior is wonderful. It's the sort of non-spongy rubber that's hard to not rub with your finger when you're holding it.
- Seams. It is very well built. The top closes very well and the USB connector slots in nicely
- The size is perfect. It's about the size of a medium sized lighter, although it weighs less.
- Attention to detail is first rate. The keyring and its attachment are nicely built. I expected junky. The status light is very nice too. You can tell a lot of thought went into this.
- Bonus: it works while my iPhone is still in its hard shell case. I hadn't considered it might not when I purchased it.

In short, there is nothing I don't like about the device itself. If it sounds like I'm gushing it's because there is so many crappy iPhone add-ons out there and time after time I've been duped. The Juice Pack is at the other end of the spectrum.

What I don't like:
- The excessive packaging. There were two layers of non-recyclable plastic around it and a big piece of cardboard. The whole thing was almost as big as those long box CD cases from years ago. Mophie, you made a wonderful device. Please don't wrap it in so much future landfill! This is the *only* reason I didn't give it 5 stars.

I would buy this again if I needed something for those emergencies when my phone has no charge. They sell bigger and more powerful versions but this one is the right size for me.

I think that I have every battery charger every produced for the iphone. This was appealing to me because of the size as advertised and in fact, it is pretty small. But I did think that it would be a bit smaller than it appears in the pictures. Fine for leaving in your pocket but I would not put it on a keychain. The amount of charge that I get is about what I would have expected knowing that 700mAH is not a lot, but is usually more than enough for what I need. Mophie makes good products and this one is also. Just don't expect too much (or in this case, too little).

This is meant for a reserve battery and is great with emergency. I am a student and this works great if I forget to charge my Iphone and find out it has 20% battery left and need to get to a class. If you needed a battery that charges more than 30% then get a Mophie Quick Charge or a Mophie battery case.

P.S. This little device saved me when my car broke down and my Iphone had 5% charge. I LOVE MOPHIE!!!

I love this tiny little thing. Yeah I know it will only get you about 20% or 30% charge but that is all I need. I am usually only an hour or two away from a computer or a outlet and I just need a bit more juice for the metro/subway/etc. And I love that this is small enough that I can throw in my bag or attach to my keychain and forget about it. And I like the texture of the device--reminds me of my old Thinkpad.

I bought it on Black Friday so the price was cheaper--about $25. Thats about the right price to pay for this.

And yeah the packaging by Mophie sucks. Mophie--hire the people that package Jawbone products please.

It is sort of an awkward fit; it doesn't snap onto the iPhone so you have to hold it there or keep it in a position so tat it won't fall off. Otherwise it is a welcome addition to my key chain and a godsend when my iPhone runs out of juice.

A message to Mophie: When you make the next one, make sure the damn thing just snaps on to the phone.

I've been looking for an emergency charging solution for my iPhone 4 for quite a while now. My main requirement was for it to be portable enough to have with me most, if not all of the time. What good is an emergency charging solution if it's not with you in an emergency?

When I saw that it was advertised as being small enough to fit on a keyring coupled with the Black Friday price drop, I quickly jumped at the purchase. The quality and build of the product is good - it has a nice rubberized texture to it. I have only used it to charge my phone a couple of times and each time it gives approximately a 30% charge to my phone before running out of juice. However, in my trials, I haven't charged it from a dead iPhone battery. I'm happy with the 30% as I expected as much after reading other reviews. My only issue is that it's not quite as small as I was expecting, but it's not a dealbreaker. I tend to keep lots of items on my keyring - usb drives, car keys, but this is definitely the biggest item on it.

If you're looking for an emergency charging solution, not something that will keep you powered on a backpacking trip through Europe, and looks are important to you, this is your product.

This juice pack is the best thing I've purchased in Amazon.
It's smaller than I thought it would be and is great for a keychain.

It has more battery power than others say. My iPod touch 4th generation had 20% battery when I plugged in my fully charged Mophie Juice Pack Reserve. It gave me 80% battery. That's a 60% charge. The tiny battery has 60% battery!!!
