The book More Activities that Teach by Tom Jackson is a must for every middle or high school teacher. It adds learning activities to lesson plans that help spice up your classes! Our county recently added 'Character Education' to our curriculum, and the activities in Jackson's book emphasize good character traits. These activites help build self-esteem, promote honesty and test a student's decision-making process. A 'must-have' book for educators. It also promotes the thought-making process for teachers to come up with their own games and activities.

I am a Case Manager for a non-profit organization that works with "at-risk" youth in our community. We use this book as one of our many tools for our life skills presentations. It has been a great asset in our many activities. The children, adolescents, parents,adults and administators have responded VERY well to the activities in this book. I strongly recommend it for anyone who does presentations or group activities.

Tom Jackson knows how to 'hit the mark' with his teaching activities. These concepts work. I highly value his work products and have found them extremely useful with students.

This book is full of great ideas to use for breakout activities to keep your health students interested and excited to learn.
