Tiny cars, cheap on gas,

This book is volume 2 to the the first microcars book written by the authors in 1994. First off, what is a bubble car or microcar? They are tiny cars made in Europe where they have had to conserve gas and use smaller vehicles for a long time while we we were driving cadillacs. The cars are charming and tiny. They usually seat two with room for 1 or 2 suitcases, and are perfect for running errands around town. Most of these cars are 3 wheeled, for in England the road tax was more expensive for a 4 wheeled vehicle. While this book does not offer every bubblecar ever made, it has a nice sampling and quality chapters on all the ones they do include. Each car has its history and designers, photos, and specifications. A really fun coffee table book covering these eccentric little cars.
