5.0 out of 5 stars A fun rhyming story for the cheese-lover in all of us! September 4, 2013

This is a great read-aloud story with a terrific rhyming pattern and uniquely illustrated storyline. It's especially funny for kids (& parents of kids) who are obsessed with a particular food, the way the girl in the story is. The extreme and increasing alarm of running out of the essential item (in this case, CHEESE) offers a fun example for tempering my own child when the immediate need comes over her. Definitely recommended!

5.0 out of 5 stars Cute rhyming story! August 29, 2013

This cute story is sure to appeal to the little ones. The rhymes are clever and the chaos Felicity creates as she demands cheese (politely, of course!) is very entertaining. It's a fun book to read aloud so the laughter can be shared. While there is no "message" in this story, I liked that Felicity said "please" when she asked for more cheese. And the ending is clever.

5.0 out of 5 stars More Cheese Please September 23, 2013
More Cheese Please is a playfully amusing story that entertains readers through humor and rhyme. Felicity is a sweet toddler who has a great love for cheese, but when all the cheese is eaten a loud tantrum ensues. A cry for "more cheese please!" is heard throughout the town and mayhem takes over. "The center of town was a mess and amuck. Animals, traffic, and people were stuck." The mayor wants the chaos to end and asks the town for help. Will anyone come to the rescue before it's too late?

The illustrations are whimsical and appeal to young readers through eye-catching colors and engaging characters. I fell in love with the chubby little farm animals that escape during Felicity's outburst.

I highly recommend picking up More Cheese Please. It a story children can enjoy again and again. Available from KiteReaders at Amazon.com.

5.0 out of 5 stars Someone get that baby some cheese! September 16, 2013
Baby Felicity is not very demanding, as long as she has plenty of cheese--her favorite thing to eat. What happens when she settles in to lunch one day and runs out of cheese? "More cheese, please," she asks. Young readers will giggle when they see what happens next as Felicity's entire family tries to appease her demands. More Cheese Please is a delightful eBook picture book by KiteReaders, perfect for young readers to read independently or for parents to read aloud to their child.

When baby Felicity has a tantrum, she really has a tantrum. The chain of events that results is cleverly written, and the fun twist in the story makes this book sure to become a classic. The vibrant pictures and cute characters, combined with the funny scenes of family members running to the rescue with cheese alternatives draw readers in immediately. The simple rhyming text and fun fonts are both fun to read and visually appealing:

"The center of town was a mess and amuck. Animals, traffic, and people were stuck. Streets started flooding. Chaos ensued. Poor Mayor Mike was an unhappy dude."

I, for one, could not wait to see what would happen next, and my cheese-loving son laughed out loud at the story. More Cheese Please begs to be read again and again.

{The publisher provided me with a review copy of this book in exchange for my honest opinions.}

5.0 out of 5 stars 3 year old's favorite book March 15, 2014
The illustrations are bold and simple, not too overdone or distracting. It's an easy-to-follow story, and both of my daughters always giggle at the end. We're really enjoying Kite Readers, in general, but we particularly love this one. Hoping to find more books by the author! She really understands toddlers and preschoolers. :)

3.0 out of 5 stars Nice story but sets a bad example January 8, 2014

My grandson lost interest in the story very quickly(he's 3 1/2) . And I felt a little like this was a book to be used to show him how NOT to ask for something (even if she did say "Please". Maybe it's just because I'm working constantly on teaching him to be patient and polite.
