It gives the basics that new machine embroiderers need and the explanations are good. For the price I think it gives good info. The included CD rom is nice to have.

This was purchased as I was new the machine embroidery. This has a lot of good information. I purchased it for a particular area but then found it helps to READ THE ENTIRE BOOK as there is a lot of good information that can help you along the way. A great purchase.

This is a fabulous book, easy to read and has great explanations on how to do. This would be a must have for any Embroidery machinist. I have already recommended it to others.

I ordered the Embroidery Machine Essentials: How to stabilize, hoop and stitch book first. When it arrived, I found it was old and dated and didn't like it. I kept thinking by ordering the second book, I wasted my money (again).

Now that the second book arrived, I actually opened it up and read it from cover to cover. It will be even more useful as I progress in machine embroidery. The book answered a lot of questions and helped clear up some misconceptions I picked up. All-in-all, I think the book has good information about moving on to bigger and better embroidery, what you need to resize (if you can with your machine), and doesn't feel nearly as dated as the "stabilize" book. This one is a keeper.

You need an embroidery design software to take advantage of what the book has to offer. I did not know this. I was very disappointed. I wasted money I could have used on something else. Not that the book was that expensive...it's the fact that "machine embroidery" is a lot more expensive than I thought. The machine is just the first part of it.

Great for helping a beginner learn to create one of a kind articles of appearl.

I receive my order promptly and am very satisfied with the book. I reccomend this book for all those just beginning Mach.Emb. It also has great references.

did not come with a disc and for you to learn the software that it teaches in the book you need the disc
