This is a superior rewrite of the earlier editions of A MORE EXCELLENT WAY. It is a fantastic deal as well. Yes, a DVD is included. Much improved indexing and great testimonies, more confirmation of medical evidence and bibliographical reference. Even if you have owned a previous edition, it is well worth it to purchase this new one, because there is much more included for practical help in getting well and in helping others. If I won a million dollars, I'd give a copy to every health professional I'd ever come in contact with.

With the amount of content on the internet these days, to keep it simple: People are REALLY being HEALED of previously deemed 'incurable' diseases by reading, becoming convinced and responding to what is presented in this book. We're talking hundreds, maybe thousands. If you are thinking "It's too late" or "It won't work for me," or "I'm too sick, no one understands what I'm dealing with," then think again. A lot of people are well, who thought that, but decided to have hope that perhaps it could work for them too. Actually, it's is not "it" that works, but the book helps you to see the relationship issues with others and God and yourself that set the stage for healing or disease, and makes plain choices you have to respond and receive. Start by reading the stories of people who became well (in the grey section in the back of the book).

There's something really wonderful that happens when you start seeing how true science, medicine and God do agree! Then naturally it follows to show there are practical answers as to what you can do to have a better life for yourself now. It's not a formula or anything new, but the beautiful heart of this man Henry Wright who emphatically expresses care and desire to help people get well. Since it is a transcribed seminar, it is not always a linear presentation, but I'm going to encourage you to hang in, as a picture is being presented. If someone cares about you, they deserve a hearing, and the love comes through with strength and gentleness, and at the same time bringing you to awareness of known medical and biblical reasons why people get sick and how they can cooperate with God to become well. So be prepared to be confronted with truth and to give yourself time to research this for yourself. I'm so grateful for the care and time put into this book to make it available to anyone who has ears to hear. Even if you are not a christian and don't believe God exists, you owe it to yourself to read this and give honest effort, rather than take someone's opinion or position. Henry Wright makes healing an approachable and practical subject for anyone who wants to, without bias or prejudice, take the journey to go from survival mode -- or even just living with disability -- into really living again.

Originally transcribed from a seminar, A MORE EXCELLENT WAY has undergone several revisions, each one becoming more readable and helpful with detailed information on relief and in many cases total healing from autoimmune diseases, allergies, psychological ills and more, all discussed within a context of understandable spirituality that is a 'must read' for EVERYONE!

If you are wanting to get well or you know someone who is trying to get well, this is not something to be missed - it points to real life and health, and there are people healed of environmental illness, cancers, degenerative diseases, high blood pressure, psychiatric diagnosed problems and more, who no longer need expensive medications and ongoing treatment because they are healthy today.

Personally this book has helped me to become well after many years of allergies and chronic fatigue, and I have been well -- allergy free! & fatigue free for 3 years!

For less than the price of of most prescription refills, it is the best investment in a cutting edge modern health solution that an individual could make. It can be read over and over again, is safe to share with friends, and there are no negative side effects! Just better days ahead for anyone who reads and applies themselves with a mind and heart open to what science and medicine are also starting to confirm.

Practical, readable, filled with truth and help. I recently read this newer version, and was surprised to find even more insight and practical help to living healthy and staying healthy today. What's nice, too, is that there are more resources on discernment from their ministry than were originally available or were available with the other editions. It seems like they added twice the book, and kept it the same price. And they added more people giving their story of just how they got well -- one of my favorite parts - totally not to be missed!

I use the principles found in A More Excellent Way everyday; usually several times a day. The chapter titled "The 8 R's to Freedom" along with Appendix C - "Walking Out to Wholeness" outline the practical steps that I use daily to get God's peace and keep His peace in my life.

Thanks to this book and the teaching from the Bible by Henry Wright I have God's peace in my life and it has transformed my life. Before I read this book, and subsequently attended a For My Life Program at the ministry center in Thomaston Georgia, I looked successful and I looked like I had it all together. But it was a performance I put on everyday to hide the stressed, worried, scared person that I really was. By using the practical applications found in this book on how to become "a doer of God's Word," all the stress, anxiety, fear, and performance is gone. God has replaced it with His perfect love. Now I am free to be who I really am and I'm at peace with myself and those around me.

As a result of the inner peace and trust in God that I now have all the physical problems I was experiencing have gone away. I used to have high blood pressure, constant heart burn, and even mild angina from time to time. All of that is gone now.

I have been a Christian for over 40 years and most of that time I felt like I was bidding my time until this life was over and I could go to heaven. Now I'm excited about life and I'm happy to be on this planet bringing God's Kingdom into my life and the lives of my brothers and sisters in Christ!

If you are serious about beginning to manifest God's Kingdom in your life and the lives of those around you I highly recommend this book to help you get started.

A More Excellent Way was given to my husband and me a few years ago as a wedding gift; towels, pots and pans are useful but little did I know how instrumental this book would be in helping us to establish Biblical truth in our marriage. A Bible college graduate and pastor's child, I was a physical and emotional wreck. God used the principles in A More Excellent Way to penetrate my heart, going beyond my upbringing to teach me to understand and apply Biblical scripture in a way that has brought clinical healing, deep and lasting peace and a secure hope. Seriously, this is a MUST READ for all who want freedom from the cycle of doctor visits, medications, despair and frustration to unanswered but well intentioned prayer. My husband and I have since given away countless copies of A More Excellent Way to see lives restored through the Love of God. Thank you, Pastor Henry Wright, for writing this book!

As a practicing physician for 17 years; one who has studied and practiced medicine in South Africa and at Duke University with an additional Masters degree in science, I strongly recommend this book for those who want to understand God's perspective on sickness and health and those for whom medicine has nothing to offer other than chronic or harmful medication. From a medical perspective, the spiritual roots identified in A More Excellent Way are entirely consistent with the scientific findings of modern mind-body medicine, called psychoneuroimmunology. The associations between stress, anxiety and fear and specific diseases are well established. What is important, and unique about this book, is that it identifies fear, guilt and shame, and their various extensions, as sin - which indeed they are. It is a verifyable scientific fact that their effects specifically parallel specific parts of the body: Fear affects tissues of the skin, nervous system and electrical supply of the heart and cardiovascular system directly (i.e., the ectoderm derivatives); guilt, anger and bitterness affect the musculoskeletal system (mesoderm derivatives); and shame affects the intestines and endocrine system (endoderm derivatives). So the specific medical associations are valid but far more detailed than medicine has been able to prove to date. What this book does is to allow the believer to identify these problems, repent for them as sin, and renew (recalibrate) their mind to God's truth. This important component is where mind-body medicine is still floundering: It identifies the problems but offers no real solutions. In my own life, I have experienced these truths at work. I had hypertension due to fear of tomorrow; arthritis due to self-bitterness for poor decisions I had made and high blood lipids due to anger about a variety of things. When the Holy Spirit was able to convict (note: not condemn, but convict) me of these persistent sins, which are contrary to God's Word (aka sin), I repented and was healed of all of them without anyone else needing to pray for me! Obedience to God's Word brought the blessing of health. So I would like to encourage readers to come on the same side of their Creator and be restored. Christ himself made a clear association between sin and disease in several places in the Gospels. Paul said that not discerning the Lord's body (i.e., not taking the atonement seriously through self examination)led to disease and premature death and James confirmes there are diseases that are unto death and in need of repentance rather than prayer. So, in a world where believers are sick and dying at a rate that is no different from the world of unbelievers, with medicine having less and less to offer at ever-increasing costs, we need to rethink our theology. This book is the first important step in that direction. It encourages us to be Christ-centered BUT ALSO Christ-like.

I ditto the first review. But also I want to comment on the excellent teaching DVD included with this new addition. It is so encouraging. This new updated edition of AMEW has more testimonies and includes an entire section on body, soul, and spirit connection which is outstanding and very "meaty." Pastor Wright not only offers Biblical insights to dis-ease of the body and mind, but medical and psychological insight, as well. This is the "real-deal."

I was hovering just over 100 lbs and loosing more and more foods. I couldn't eat cooked foods without a Big problem. I was only eating some raw fruits and veggies. By the time I was through reading the book i was eating maybe 3 apples a day. My nerveous system wasn't working right and I had irritable bowel and such severe acid reflux I could not lay down. I was sleeping upright and was in a large amount of pain and misery. I had many other health problems as well. I read Henry's book A More Excellent Way, and had nothing to loose. No doctors could even manage what I had. A mother of 3 small kids I needed to do something. I went to Henry Wright's Program For My Life, after reading the book and thought is was my only hope. You see I took an allergy medicine for my seasonal allergies that started this decline with my autonomic nerveous system! I traced back to when I started with the allergies in the first place and I was really going through a tough period in my life. After 1 week I was eating, i went through again and took almost all of my foods back and can now eat in restraunts. The enemy was exposed. I have since checked my theology at the door along with my "religion" for a more excellent way. I have discovered theology which is man's interpretation of scripture isn't worth dying for. The Holy spirit is alive and now working wonders in my life. I had to kill some sacred cows! satan has no problem using our belief system against us to keep us in bondage. I had been annointed with oil 4 times before I went down there, amd my faith was shaken, God not only is healing my physical body now, but is healing my broken heart as well. Thank you pastor Henry for asking God to teach you from scratch. I have met My God who still preforms miracles and heals today! He is the same yesterday and today!
Pastor Henry does not teach all sickness is from sin, he teaches 80% of all INCURABLE diseses are spiritually rooted.

This " Revolutionary " book has given me great insight into " Disease ", and the spiritual dimension that affect each of us. It has opened my "spiritual " eyes as to my Fibromyalgia and why I am not getting Well. After studying what Pastor Wright says about physical disease and the spiritual dimension and how it affects our recovery is truly amazing. There are so many people who are so sick, and the medical community does not have answers to what causes it. Pastor Wright, goes into great detail as to the " Cause " of many diseases. They have almost 100% success with " Hashimoto disease " , which has to do with the Thyroid. Excellent!!

There are a number of books out now concerning Christian divine healing, but none will duplicate this one. It delves deeply and accurately into the spiritual reasons a person becomes sick of dozens of different diseases that Pastor Henry and his staff have successfully treated at their center in Thomaston, GA. As a result they have the highest record of cure (yes, cure) for hitherto "incurable" disease like Multple Chemical Senstivities, and many others. My husband and I have been using the princples in this book and have made more headway on MCS than we have with anything else in 25 years. (We plan to visit the Pleasant Valley Church where Pastor Henry ministers in the near future.) We have also progressed spiritually with the principles in the book. I would recommend this book to absolutely anyone who is sick, and have bought several copies to give to friends who are suffering.

I was healded of allergies and a broken heart just from reading A More Excellent Way! After reading the book I went to Pleaseant Valley Church and attened classes. I met Pastor Henry Wright and many of the people who have testmonies in A More Excellent Way!
It is not a book you can just read you have to get involved in studying the word of God. You will know so much more about the Bible and God's truths and you will find A more Excellent Way to Be in Health!

For over 10 years I was 15 to 20 pounds underweight, my heart raced, I was very tired and I had insomnia. I had always been active healthy before that. After I read "A More Excellent Way", I understood why my health was going downhill. That book, not only helped me understand the reasons behind my problems, but gave me the answers to how to turn my life around. In one month I gained 7 pounds, my heart became normal and I started sleeping at nights. I steadily gained up to my normal weight and have no problem maintaining it. That was just the beginning! I have also been able to overcome many emotional wounds that happened when I was a child and I feel like my broken heart is healing, more all the time.
