Relying on Delivery
My school recently adopted a program which incorporates specific children's books into the lesson plans. Most of the books are provided but a few titles weren't. I started with Amazon's selections, ordered the books I was needing for upcoming lessons and everything I needed was received timely, in perfect condition and because I ordered while Amazon was offering a 4 for...

The answers are not always clear.
While the photos are characteristically good--colorful and bright, the answers are not evident on every page. There is a good idea behind this book but the presentation will frustrate many young readers. A sixth grader at my library found it confusing. This is not one of Hoban's best.
