5.0 out of 5 stars Unintelligent design
As a huge fan of the first Flanimals book I've been waiting for "More Flanimals" with some trepidation. Were we just going to get the same book again with a different cover? The answer to this is a resounding "no". Gervais and Steen have taken us to another level in the world of the doomed but strangely adorable Flanimals. We really liked book one, but imo the undertones mocking God and creation throughout the rest of the Flanimal books have gone too far for a children's series. These could have been such fun books, we were highly disappointed and are no longer fans.

Some of the old favorites are there but we meet new creatures as well (the Mung Ungler being one of my favorites). But we also get treated to evolutionary charts, flanatomy, "Who's Hardest?", and the teasing tale of an adventurous baby Blunging. This is definitely a book for all ages - buy it for all the family!!

5.0 out of 5 stars A six-year-old who loves it, August 20, 2006

My six-year-old son loved the first Flanimals book, and couldn't wait for another one to come out. The second book far surpassed his (and my) expectations. It's delightful, silly, and well illustrated. My son has spent countless hours drawing his own Flanimals.

Now, we hear that a new Flanimals book is on its way. We can't wait.

Well, even if Grob does not exist, it's good to see that Ned Flanders is alive and well and living in Seattle.
