The next stop in the U-Turn series, "More God Allows U-Turns - True Stories of Hope and Healing", gives the reader another dose of the u-turn doctrine: No matter how far you've traveled the wrong road in life, regardless the wrong choices you have made, and the terrible situations you've found yourself, God Allows U-Turns and He gives you the grace to get back on track. An inspirational book that breathes life into the hope of second, third and fourth chances, "More God Allows U-Turns" is a must-read for 2002.

I really enjoyed this collection of short stories. Many of them were very well written and I found myself being inspired and encouraged when reading them. Some of the stories are also very thought provoking and I found myself setting the book down and allowing the words that I just read to refresh my soul. The short story called "Smiley" was, in my opinion, the highlight of the book. With the crafting of words in the style of Kingsolver and the spirituality of authors like Norris, the author caught the essence of what this book is all about. For those who need encouragement or just plain refreshing this book will uplift your soul.

After reading the first Volume of God Allows U-Turns I was hooked. I never imagined any book being as good as the first one. Well, This one certainly was. It literally blew me away. I love these stories so much, I was able to relate to many of them. It's so amazing to read a book and be so uplifted. These true life stories really touched my heart. I flew through the first volume, I never wanted the stories to end. So with Volume two I decided to take my time and savor each story, one or two at a time. Being a mother of four boys, this was my mini vacation every night. I would be so pumped up after reading them. I can't help but tell everyone about them. They really lit a spark in me.

More God Allows U-Turns gives the reader a chance to start at the beginning, middle or end... this is a book that is great from start to finish, but best when savored in small bites. READ, stop, THINK, reflect. You will not want to hurry through the excellent stories reflected here. Read one by one, by chapter or topic. The hearts of the writers speak clearly and loudly. Enjoy God's goodness and mercy in everyday situations that lead us to a closer walk with Him!

This book is truly incredible and spirit-filled. Having heard much praise for God Allows U-Turns first edition, I purchased this one and absolutely loved every story. While turning the pages, I cried, laughed, and rejoiced. This would make a great gift and is a very powerful tool for God's message to reach others.

I enjoyed the book even though, I was wanting the original God Allows U Turns.

I picked up this book during my church magazine meeting. I'm one of the photographers and contributors for our mag called "Rejoice". Our meeting chairman asked if anyone would like to review this book and I volunteered. I needed it, actually. I can feel as if the book is calling out for me, and perhaps that's the way God is speaking to me. I was going through a dry spell and on the verge of backsliding. In short, I'm not at peace with God and with myself. I'm 'basking' in my own little pity party, right in the midst of a Christian fellowship.

Back to the book. Just like what all the other reviewers have said, this book is a wonderful compilation of real life stories. Stories of and by people like you and me. These folks went through life that is full of challenges, obstacles, negativity, etc. But in the midst of all these adversities, they lovingly and courageously related how God pulled them through, how God answered their cries, how God sent people (or, 'angels') into their lives. Each story is inspiring. Some brought tears to my eyes as they touched me to the deepest core of my being. I am not alone when I read these stories because here I know, people go through the same struggles.

I am refreshed, encouraged and strengthened. I hope you will too.
