"B" is for "bomb"
Big B is another rapper that I think I was introduced to via HipHopSite. But I'm starting to regret hearing of him after listening to his album More to Hate.
One concern I have is the way B raps: he kind of sounds like Steve Schirippa would sound if HE tried to rap. But another concern is that sometimes it's hard to tell if B's raps are meant to be serious or...

This review is from: More to Hate (Audio CD)
Big B is another rapper that I think I was introduced to via HipHopSite. But I'm starting to regret hearing of him after listening to his album More to Hate.
One concern I have is the way B raps: he kind of sounds like Steve Schirippa would sound if HE tried to rap. But another concern is that sometimes it's hard to tell if B's raps are meant to be serious or comedic, especially the first half of the album ("White Trash Life", anyone?). Also, when he hooks up with labelmate Dirtball (???), he hits ("It's All Good") and misses ("Pass the Jager").
And speaking of "Pass the Jager", there are a lot of uninteresting examples of trendy subject matter on here, like getting lifted ("We Can Smoke") and freaky girls ("Looky Looky") -- but, wait; there's also a generic ode to GOOD women too ("She's Wonderful"). B and his friends also have a habit of using sing-songy choruses with questionable results.
The only songs that really excel on here are "Million Miles" (with Tech N9ne), "How Quick", "This is Me", and possibly "American Dream". In fact, giving this album three stars is being nice, so as far as More to Hate, well, he said it; I didn't.
