5.0 out of 5 stars More Hair-raising Tales
More Haunted Hoosier Trails by well-known Indiana folklorist, Wanda Lou Willis, is a continuation of well-researched tales from haunted sites in Indiana. The hair-raising accounts are listed by counties. This book is a wonderful follow-up to Haunted Hoosier Tales.

3.0 out of 5 stars More Haunted Hoosier Trails
The tone is like a retelling of something someone said once that they heard might be true. Poorly researched stories compared to other authors in this genre.

I bought a used book...sure would be disappointed if I had paid full price for new.

4.0 out of 5 stars Indiana Ghost Stories, January 4, 2012
This review is from: More Haunted Hoosier Trails (Haunted Heartland Series) (Paperback)
Like the first book in this collection, the ghost stories are organized by county with a brief history about each county given before the ghost stories. Most of the stories in the collection are very short, and some of them give more details about things mentioned very briefly in the first book. There are two many stories to list them all here, but I was particularly interested in the one about Skiles Test ("House of Blue Lights", Indianapolis, Marion County) because we'd passed the park with his name on the way to my aunt's house the last time we visited. For those who haven't heard the story, he was a millionaire who supposedly kept his wife's body in his mansion after she died. Although the house is no longer there, the area where it once stood is supposedly haunted. This is a good book to have if you're visiting Indiana, especially nice for long car trips.
