4.0 out of 5 stars Easy read that still makes you think as you go.
This book might not be all that meaningful to a really advanced player. In my case, since I am still learning, I found that it helped me reflect on a variety of situations.

3.0 out of 5 stars not for beginners
I like Daniel's personality on the TV games, so bought this book before any others. Obviously the wrong book for a beginner. Texas Hold'em for Dummies was far more applicable for a beginner and I learned a lot from that book. Daniel's book will have to sit on my book shelf for a while.

5.0 out of 5 stars This is a great book for begginners, April 8, 2009
This review is from: More Hold'em Wisdom for all Players (Paperback)
I read this book in under a day. It is about 170 pages and Negreanu does a great job of talking to you about strategy and why it works, not at you. I play poker for at least four hours a day, and thought I would read his book just to see what he says, and I strongly agree with how he explains things and why. I recomend this book to any one, pro, or novice.

I purchased this book at my son's request. He found it to be very informative. I bought at least three more books on this subject for him.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent reminder of what not to do, June 23, 2011
This review is from: More Hold'em Wisdom for all Players (Paperback)
I picked this book up to reread and found the tips very valuable. I have to say that the book has saved me hundreds of dollars in one session. There are no great revelations, the book reminds players of pitfalls, that would have otherwise cost you money. Better for an advanced player.

An easy read that gives you insite into lowball poker. Having read other items by Daniel Negreanu some of what is covered I had read before. But there some things that were new to me.

All in all it was well worth the money and the time.

4.0 out of 5 stars Easy read, excellent advice, October 25, 2009
This review is from: More Hold'em Wisdom for all Players (Paperback)
This book is an easy read and something every advanced beginner/intermediate Poker player should read. It's always nice to get some insight from one of the best Poker Players of his generation. This book is enjoyable and light hearted, it's a fun read and highly recommended.

That being said, if you are looking for some really deep book on poker and are looking for some really in depth analysis then this is not the book for you.
