I just love this CD. How could you not like it? It has several different styles of music included. Nearly everyone could find a song that they like on here. From "More Life In My Day" (a fast paced louder-yet-not-rock song) to "God Made You" (a 'love' song) to "For the Glory of Christ" (a praise and worship song) there is something there for everyone. Also Keith Green had his own "style" of music that you can usually recognize as his and this CD has one of his songs on it.
My favorites are "More Life In My Day", "Back Where You Belong", "Yea God", "When Love Broke Through", and "He Did What I Couldn't Do".
I would definetely recommend this CD. Listen and enjoy.

'More Life' is the best Christian album I have ever had. Especially the song 'For the Glory of Christ', that song has been my prayer ever since.

I have been a NewSong fan for about 15 years. They have been my favorite for many years. Their commitment to the Lord and their powerful lyrics keep me listening to their music. "More Life" is probably my favorite NewSong CD. There are many songs on this CD that are powerful lyrically and just easy to listen to. My favorties have to be "Back where you belong", "Your love broke through", "Cherish", and "Emmaeus Love". There's really not a song on this CD that I dislike.

I have been a Christian nearly my entire life. Only after reading The Purpose Driven Life last summer (2003) did I begin listening to contemporary christian music. This is the first CD I bought and since then, have purchased many more. More Life remains my favorite. Vocally, these guys are great, musically, they're exceptional. The message is constant and nearly every song catches you after just one listen. 'Emmaus Love' and 'It's Not Far' are my favorites - but 'Back where you Belong' and
'Yea God' are equally strong. You'll feel good singing this songs in your car - or at work - or in your head. It's not often this CD comes out of the player.

If you like good, (somewhat popish) contemporary christian music, you'll like this CD. Go buy it!

Newsong has always been consistantly good, and this latest CD is certainly no exception. My personal favorite tracks are "Life In My Day"(The title track), "Back Where You Belong", "Yea God", "Emmaus Love", and "He Did What I Couldn't Do". Those are only my favorites, they are all very very good.

The great thing about Newsong is their diverse music. This CD really sounds different from Sheltering Tree and all previous, but at the same time you know it's Newsong because it's extremely tight musically, has their incredible singing, and great lyrics.

I really recommend this CD!

Ok I'll be frank. I'm probably not the best person to write a review on this item cause I've never been much of a fan of Newsong. They have a couple cool songs and all but in the long run they just aren't my style. I bought it as a gift for someone who actually is a fan. This doesn't mean I didn't get to hear the songs and notice the quality to it though. (I'd be an idiot to write a review without even hearing it.)

The redo of Keith Green's song "Love Broke Through" is actually pretty decent. I wasn't very happy about the idea of them singing his song since it's done well enough by him and I've always heard it that way. But for the most part they did pretty good keeping true to the song yet making it their own. They probably won't terribly offend the die hard Jesus Movement fans that are listening (I have a couple of those in my family who were appalled at the very idea of this song being sang by someone other than Keith Green or maybe Matthew Ward but they were able to let it go upon hearing it). And if you've never heard this song's original recording but hear it first time through Newsong I'm sure you'll find it to be very enjoyable and may even be inspired to find out about the song and what inspired it.

A couple of the songs "Like More Life" are fun a bouncy enough to play in the car to make the ride to work enjoyable and the song "When God Made You" is sure to make the romantic person tear up or at least feel the need to sing to their significant other.

Quality wise it's a good CD without too many predictable rhymes or annoying harmony, and that's coming from a person who prefers rap and hip hop.

I purchased this for my husband - it's pop rock Christian music. I think the songs are original and much fun to listen to. ... and it doesn't hurt to have Gunnar Nelson on drums!!!!

I loved this CD! My favorites are It's Not Far, Your Favorite Name Is Father, and You Are My King. This is a talented group of guys. If you aren't a fan, go see them in concert and you will be!
