One of the best!!!!!,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: The More, The Merrier (The Amazing Days of Abby Hayes, No. 8) (Paperback)
The book Amazing Days Of Abby Hayes the More the Merrier, by Anne Mazer and illustrated by Monica Gesue, is book number 8 from the Abby Hayes series. This story is fiction with hundreds of made-up characters you will love!
In the story, Amazing days of Abby Hayes, Abby is trying to plan a party for the end of the fifth grade year. During the story she struggles along the way to get thing done but at the end... well you can figure that out our self. (I don't want to spoil the surprise.) I think that the author's writing style is very unquie and diffrent form alot of other stories. She has good word choice and interesting taste in how to do stuff. I like the way the author, at some points, will write with purple pen. When she does write with it it means that Abby is writing in her journal. I feel when Abby is writing in her journal it is easier to relate to the character. I recommend this book to 3rd-5th grade because I started reading them at 3rd grade and I'm not sure if I will like the series in 6th grade.

Abby Hayes!!,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: The More, The Merrier (The Amazing Days of Abby Hayes, No. 8) (Paperback)
This book is one of my favorites! Its about when Ms.Bunder tells them that they have to write about their rooms. When it's time to start for Abby she discovers that her room is to boring. Abby also has to get her parents to let her have a party for all of the fifth grade! But Abby paints her lamp purple and thats it right? WRONG!! See what happens in The More, the Merrier!

This review is from: The More, The Merrier (The Amazing Days of Abby Hayes, No. 8) (Paperback)
This latest book in the Abby Hayes series is about Abby throwing a party for her whole grade and repainting her bedroom. I liked this book alot because I also am re-doing my room. I think Anne Mazer is a really good writer. She makes her characters very interesting and uses lots of descriptive words. I am a big fan of the Abby Hayes series and can't wait for the next book to be published!

The More the Merrier-including Reviews,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: The More, The Merrier (The Amazing Days of Abby Hayes, No. 8) (Paperback)
When Abby Hayes wants a "Hooray it's Summer!" party, she's exhilarated when her parents agree. Not only the party is keeping her busy though. Ms. Bunder assigns an essay about their rooms, and Abby discovers her room is too boring to suit her. Finding inspiration in Isabel's purple nail polish, she turns her room into a "Palace of Purple"! However, she forgets about her party until the very last minute! Fortunately, her parents help her, and her party is a blast. At the end, her classmates get a tour of her room. Even Brianna compliments it!

This review is from: The More, The Merrier (The Amazing Days of Abby Hayes, No. 8) (Paperback)
Abby's having a " HOORAY IT'S SUMMER PARTY " for the whole fifth grade, boys ,the cool girls and everthing. But as soon as she hand out the invitations, she started to worry about what people will think. Will they like the food and drinks? And this question is what Abby worried most: Will they think her bedroom was boring?
Then Abby decided it was a perfect time to give her room a makeover! Until the last minute, will she finish in time for the party? P.S. Do people actually paint their rooms because they're worry about what people think? I wonder who.

ONE OF THE BEST!,

This review is from: The More, The Merrier (The Amazing Days of Abby Hayes, No. 8) (Paperback)
This was one of my favorite books in the series. Ms.Bunder, Abby's favorite and creative writing teacher, assigns an essay to write about your room. Abby finds that her room is awfully boring, and with the help of Isabel's nail polish, Abby not only paints her lamp purple (which was what she intentionally meant to do), but she paints half of her room purple! But, OH NO! Abby has forgotten to do almost everything for her "Hooray! It's Summer!" party! Fortunataly, her family helps her, and she has a great party, despite the water balloon fight. This was a great book and even Brianna complimented Abby on her room. Get a copy today!

With the inspiration with the assignment and Isabel's finger nail polish Abby does what she wants to do in her room. Meanwhile Abby is planning a "Hooray it's summer" party and her SuperSibs fighting Abby does not know how to manage... And for sure you are going to be laughing! |
