I bought Show Me How about a year ago after a couple of friends of mine wouldn't stop raving about it. Like them, I found the first book entertaining, useful, and endlessly fascinating. There's a ton of fun and exciting things to learn from browsing the step-by-step instructions in the book.
When I was notified by Amazon that a new book was being published I bought it sight unseen. I was prepared to be disappointed as many sequels often don't live up to the quality or novelty of the originals. However, I honestly think that More Show Me How is an even better book -- it covers more unexpected topics, more interesting subjects, and more creative ideas.
I love this book: there's just about everything here -- for just about everyone. There's some really imaginative, up-to-the minute entries covered and they're communicated with beautifully instructive and simply elegant art matched by a dry, wry sense of wit. There's everything from how to fix a sagging door to how to survive an avalanche to how to make dandelion wine. Overall, it's very practical and genuinely inspiring. Highly recommended.

This book is really great, step by step to literally everything. To decorating cakes to how to avoid bar fights it's in there. Also a great gift idea for anyone and everyone. At such a good price too. Great fun and quirky book. Recommend it everyone.

I don't ever feel compelled to write reviews but this book is so fun and awesome- I got it as a gift along with the first and went on here to buy a bunch for a lot of upcoming bdays, gift exchanges, engagements etc and the holiday madness. If you know resourceful DIY types and people that LOVE Real Simple or Make Magazine this is a great choice, and really fun to flip through. Its tailored for older audiences so dont' give it to your 6 year old, although there are lots of pretty pics.
