I have been fortunate enough to experience Brett Dennen performing live. While I am not familiar with the venues at which these tracks were recorded, the resulting musical genius is nonetheless stellar. I would recommend that anyone not familiar with this artist definitely purchase the studio recorded versions first; however, this album nicely compliments the collection. Furthermore, I would recommend that if an opportunity arises by which a live performance can be attended, take advantage of it; if not, this album might be the next best thing.
