This review is from: More Tales of the South Carolina Low Country (Paperback)
This is good book because it has great stories and they are very entertaining. They also let you in on a part of the past of South Carolina. I really enjoyed the one about the students who see Alice, and the girl who was buried alive is pretty good too. I think that most anyone will appreciate and enjoy this book. I found the book charming and colorful. The vivid background in South Carolina is a difinite plus. Just don't read it in the dark and alone, some of the stories will give you the creeps even in broad daylight. Still, that's half the fun.

These ghost stories will have you thinking, February 23, 1999

This review is from: More Tales of the South Carolina Low Country (Paperback)
This book is a collection of ghost stories. That are all located in South Carolina's low country. One of the stories is "The Legend Of The Gray Man." This legend is about a man dressed in gray. Before a hurricane he walks the South Carolina's beaches toe warn people to leave and go somewhere safe. Another story is about a girl named Alice Flagg. She was a young girl adn she had a unusual beauty. She lived with her brother and mother on Murrells Inlet. For the most part these were entertaining except for six out of the twenty-three stories. In some of the stories they gave directions to some of the places. In my opinion there are better ghost stories out there.
