Personally, I didn't like the format.
This is an old book done in an old fashion style. I didn't like the black and white picture / drawings. I tore out the instructions for the cover and that was that!

I love this book it has very easy to understand directions. After buying a kit with similar style earrings, I bought this book and made the set on the front with the butterflies. I still get compliments on it, and I have had them for 15 plus years. The designs are very nice. Barbara Elbe is also very good lots of bird designs and amulet pouch necklaces which I love. I think I have all of both of their books. I highly recommend them.

If you want to learn to make ladder-and-brick stitch triangle earrings, you can't go wrong with Deon DeLange's little books. However, books two and three really should be called "more patterns" rather than "more techniques." Yo. There is really only one set of simple stitch techniques for the whole series: Ladder stitch base, brick stitch upper portion, fringed bottom. it's the elaboration of designs from that simple start that evolves from one book to the next. Note that in size 11/0 seed beads, the center cover earring is huge -- might be a nice pendant <g>. The more detailed the pattern, the bigger the area, unless you switch to smaller beads.

This is a good book to learn new beading techniques. Instructions are easy to follow and it is a good source of information for the beginner as well as the experienced beader.
