T.H. White's "More Than Before" is an original and rich journey through the streets of NYC. Built on smooth groovy beats and lush intstrumentation, the album's dynamics are oooh so satisfying. With guest appearences from Steely Dan/Doobie Brothers legend Cornelius Bumpus and red hot NY Dj fliphillips, the records depth carries the listner through dreamy Floyd esgue moments, street disco all the way to trip hop the beat generation will drool over. All in all, "More Than Before" is a album that will upgrade anyone's collection, and make any party fill up with cool.

T.H. White is a musical genius! This is a perfect concept album of original grooves and sounds. The album is kickin' from start to finish. I hope T.H. White continues to produce with this kind of creativity. "More Than Before" takes you on a journey back to the 70's while keeping it tight with a fresh, ultramodern funkified vibe.

White</u> presents a skillful blend of jazz, classical, electronica, rock and 70's soul in the ultra chilled beats and melodies of this great lounge style album. The flowing nature of the tracks lends itself to a great ambient feel that makes "More Than Before" a great album for a relaxed atmosphere. Put it in, sit back and chill.

Highly recommended. Not entirely unlike K.C. and the Sunshine Band of the late '70's Disco era, neither of which I much liked. Kind of soft, rockish instrumentals with maybe jazz and disco influences, with a variety of backing vocalists. No hit singles, just a solid, solid album. Precision playing of well-crafted songs, I feel more mature for having listened to it. Mood music perfect for an adult mixer, especially when nobody is familiar with it. Dancible enough to encourage it when that party is on fire, but no so much that you notice it most of the time. Encore, Mr. White!!

(P.S. - it doesn't hurt to have extra copies on hand for guests who might express an interest.)

A friend in the NYC fashion world was raving about this record. She had been hearing it all over Fashion Week runways and after parties. After hearing it at the Ralph Lauren opening, I knew it had to be in my stereo, Ipod and car! Its grooves are so sexxy and well played. I love the way it fits any vibe from the bedroom to the dance floor. Does anyone know if he has any other music out??

T.H. White has been steadily gaining momentum since the release of this debut in Jan 2005. Critics, music fans, network television producers and U.S. club owners have all embraced this new artist (I read all about him on Google before buying this album.) With amazing grooves and elements from 70's 80's 90's and today blended so well, I have a lot of good times when my friends and Blast this gem. Will be standing by for album number 2.....

I love this album! I bought it on a whim and it's perfect for just about everything from dancing to a dinner party. This is a definite must-buy.

This album stinks...

Not an ounce of soul. Nothing past the first bass line is worth hearing. This guy is a poser.
