Just discovered this gem by the talented David Harrell and company - and I sure wish I'd found it sooner! Hypnotic vocals and addictive guitar come together in a well-crafted song mix. Harrell's chameleon guitar is one minute melodic fuzz, the next jangly pop, the next plaintive rock wail. You can definitely hear the influences (especially Yo La Tengo) but Harrell gives his work a truly original stamp. It all adds up to a finely layered, atmospheric canvas that's well worth repeat listening.
