Susan S. Thorpe, Asst. Professor at Carroll Community CollegeMore Than Magnets is more than a book of science activities for preschool through primary students. It is an integrated manual of explorations that answer "Why" questions many young children ask.
Througout the book, the teachers is given a description of the activity, a materials list, scientific background, procedural validation, extension questions, other integrated curricular activities, and helpful hints including modifications.
