1.0 out of 5 stars Creepy hero
He is detached from his humanity to the point of mental illness, and completely lacked empathy. I liked the heroine, and he went out of his way to make her life a nightmare until he got what he wanted- even though he is clearly the last person who should ever raise a child. Ever. I just couldn't like him at all, or understand how anyone could fall in love with him.

I really enjoyed this book and for the price you can't beat it. The plot jumps off from the first page and does not linger with unimportant particulars. Nicole is endearing and selfless but almost to her own detriment. Ryan is goal orieneted in "looking out for number one" but things change as he and Nicole click. Grant it he resorts to some underhanded tactics but redeems himself in the end. Their combined childhood pasts has the reader rooting for them as they each try to find their own in this fertitlity mixup that leaves them parents, and responsible for the welfare of their unborn child.
