My search for a compact disc of this wonderful soundtrack appears to be in vain. However, I am very happy that I had the foresight to buy the vinyl with its original cover over 20 years ago. This soundtrack is beautiful, mainly because of its absolutely first rate orchestral score. Because of the time when the film was made, there are vocals that are dated but precious. Overall, it is worth having. SOMEONE SHOULD RE-RELEASE THE SOUNDTRACK. I am sure several of us would purchase it at any price! I went to a film collectors weekend in London and found some soundtrack enthusiasts who lamented that there does not appear to be any score available in Italy either.

Though the Cinderella story of "More Than a Miracle" with Sophia Loren and Omar Shariff (filmed in the late 60's)is playful and magical in plot, the soundtrack is quite moving and emotional in its deepth. As the soundtrack of "Out of Africa" could move one to tears who had ever known loves pain, so too will this.

I was lucky enough to watch this movie while translating it into Spanish subtitles...and getting paid for it! As a language editor for seven years, I watched hundreds of movies. Without a doubt, it is on my list of top 10 motion picture soundtracks. The brilliance of the music is how it floats in the air and remains there to the point that you do not want it to end. It is a magical and fantastic masterpiece!

Piero Piccioni's score for MORE THAN A MIRACLE was released on CD in 1996 (Screen Trax CDST 304 - 15 tracks - stereo). I suspect it will be re-released soon!

I goofed ordering this item, but I'm keeping it anyway. Next time, I'll make sure there's is a PICTURE of the product before placing an order.

I really wanted this soundtrack! I got to review an LP of More Than a Miracle at the Performing Arts library in Manhatten. It was magical! Please press this dvd again soon. I promise to buy it as soon as it's released!

End Title - More Than A Miracle

I discovered this film late one night on the late, late show back in the early 80's and I was mesmerized, not only by the wonderful stars Sophia Loren and Omar Sharif, (Sophia was at the height of her beauty) but by its incredibly beautiful score. The music bathed the scenes with a magical feeling and sparkle that are hard to describe. This music is so purely beautiful and so from the heart, it can move you to tears or bring hope and laughter. Needless to say I was blown away. I am so happy to own the Piero Piccioni score of "C'era Una Volta", I bought it about 6 years ago at Tower Records. I treasure it and if you have the opportunity- buy it; you will not be disappointed. It was amazing, and "more than a miracle" that such a beautiful score and movie were created in 1967 in the midst of that turbulent decade, it harks back to a more romantic and gentler era, with larger than life actors and exquisite music.
I give it my highest recommendation and rating.

I have loved, cherished, coveted this soundtrack for years. I first purchased it on vinyl and recorded it to tape. I thought I was the only person in the world who ever thought it exceptional since I could never find it. By chance, today, I found an old taped copy and thought just maybe....I nearly cried when my word search turned it up. It's a wonderful, wonderful sound track. You won't be disappointed.
