This review is from: More Tricks of the Game-Programming Gurus/Book and Cd-Rom (Paperback)
I bought this book because I owned "Tricks for the Game Programming Gurus" (the first one), which I like very much. I found this second one to be a must-have if you like the first one, but not as great. Still, there are many "tricks" that would be important for the game programmer in the 90's. Today, it's more for a curious reader, as it won't help with a new project. The book is mostly focused on DOS, but even DOS today won't work the same way, as hardware is entirely different.
