Permit me to quote Richie Unterberger: Trini Lopez does these songs his way: "with an infectious Latin-influenced, swinging rhythm and nonstop party ebullience, embellished by the enthusiastic live nightclub audience". This record has been a part of the soundtrack of my life since I found it in my parent's record cabinet. Who knew they were so groovy? The music is fresh, fun and never gets old. It is absolutely a gem. If there is one thing I could grab running out of a burning house it would be this album ...and some pants.

This is Trini at his best. A timeless rock 'n' roll classic with a boistrous crowd to boot. Each song (with the exception of "Yeah") is a gem. Put this on at any hip party and watch the rug cut. I would take this album to my grave.

I am 72 years old, and back in the 60's
Trini Lopez was one of my favorites. I had a bunch of his records. It brings back a lot of great memories, to listen to a good preformer do his stuff. |
