5.0 out of 5 stars Great Webb Pierce Recordings, December 29, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: More & More (Audio CD)
This covers most of Webb Pierce's hits and well known songs. 30 recordings make this a best buy. Sound for recordings this old is amazing. They had to have had access to old masters and someone at the helm to loving remaster these as they sound like they were recoderd yesterday. This is a must for any Web Pierce fan or Fan of the 50's 60's country. His "Drifting Texas Sands", which I don't recall hearing before is great. Another song, "Oh, So Many Years" is a duet with Kitty Wells. Love all of her duets.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great memories!, June 12, 2011

This review is from: More & More (Audio CD)
Webb Pierce, Ernest Tubb, Jim Reeves, Hank Snow, and Hank Tompson were familliar tunes around our house
when I was a kid growing up. My Dad loved these songs and would sing along with them. I ordered the CD and
these others for him but I liked them so much I kept them for myself! I did end up sending him Webb Pierce
and the others and he just loves them. I don't who loves them more. Webb Pierce is a great CD bringing back
many fond memories.
