More compression on 1 disc?

I've seen that the rest of the world has issued this film as double-disc set. Does that mean that the US edition is more compressed in order to fit all contents on 1 disc?

Yes, that's right. But also, the international versions are in PAL not NTSC. PAL does take up more disc space, although they could have fitted it all in one disc if they wanted. I guess if you want the best picture quality, buy the Australian DVD. Olivia will thank you for it.
