Delicious,

This is a real gourmet product. You can add them to melon cut in dices and it makes an excellent entrée. You can add to ice cream as well, and unless you are anti alcohol, no one will be dissapointed, but probably most surprised, it's delicious.
We discovered this in a fancy gourmet store in the heart of France, and are very pleased that it is also available in the US and Canada.

These cherries are really delicious..they are soaked in Kirsch and not at all supersweet like
the martini cherries or ice cream cherries. They actually contain very little sugar and have that hot heated cognac sort of taste. I'm very happy to have found them on amazon as I live in France and this is a good way to share them with my family! yum!

Oh these are sublime. Small, intensely flavored cherries in a fantastic, just slightly sweet, alcohol. The cherries are very small, about a half to three quarters of an inch in diameter. They are seedless, and have no stems attached. The picture is very accurate; they are dark Bordeaux red cherries. The Kirsch or liquor these are packed in is just slightly sweet and just the right amount of alcohol, so there is an initial alcohol sharpness (like vodka) and then an intense cherry and sweet finish. The package lists 10% alcohol content. These are not grocery store Maraschino cherries. They are not radioactive red with all the cherry flavor removed with sugar and food coloring in its place. No these are natural cherries. For a drink that calls for a Maraschino cherry, like a Manhattan, use a pick and two cherries. These are fabulous on vanilla ice cream. I love these cherries. Although expensive, they are worth every single penny.
