I first saw him on TV doing Babalu, but didn't pay attention until a latino friend played me his record, WOW ! This guy has a little bit of everything, I don't know any spanish and I love this CD. He has an english song that is called 16 that rocks!
Looking forward to hearing more....

Este disco es para la gente que le gusta la música de los Beatles, el rock de los años sesenta en general, el rock alternativo y la música latina. Moreno escribió todas las canciones excepto «Babalú», su versión de una canción clásica, y todas son bien divertidas y diferentes. Creo que este talentoso músico va a tener mucho éxito en el futuro.

I first heard Moreno live on Cinco de Mayo. The energy, the rhythm, the voice was fantastic. I bought his newest El Seguendo right then and there and then hit the web to find more. The music sticks with you. It's a great way to get lifted up on a dull day. Moreno's voice is unique and very distinguishable. I'm so impressed I've bought the CD and sent it to friends.

I had heard him doing a song with Madonna and was so impressed with his style and sound I wanted to hear more. The CD stands on its own - but with his rendetion of Balalu - makes it outstanding and people should sit up and take notice - this is a talented performing artist - I hope to hear more from him.

Great album here by jorge moreno. Vocals at times reminds me of enrique iglesias although i'm not an enrique fan for sure but i appreciate moreno's music. Highlights include:16, vida, hidden bonus track, candelita, and despertare. worth check out if you like latin pop cuban music!

I grew up avoiding all latin american, especially cuban music (mainly because it was the only thing my family listened to). Now that I rarely hear latin music, I am thrilled when I find a good album, and Moreno is very good. He has the traditional singing style of the musicians I grew up hearing (sultry, slow, and warm) mixed with a hint of the American beat and pop I grew up dancing to. I put this CD in my portable player and take it with me on my morning walks (my only problem is that some of the tracks really make me want to dance, which I don't think my neighbors would appreciate at 7AM).

With all the wannabe's out there, including the Latin pop scene, Jorge Moreno is a sign that there's awesome talent out there. His songs have interesting arrangements, the lyrics are smart, the melodies are catchy without being sticky or annoying. I think he has a great shot at becoming a lasting presence on the Latin music scene.

The moment I saw Jorge Moreno's video "Despertare" I wanted to buy the CD. When I finaly bought the CD I was very happy to hear all the different tracks. They are all so different that there's something for everyone. I especially love all the ballads. He has a great voice, and now I can't wait to go to one of his concerts.

I started listening to this CD in a store and decided to buy it after listening to the first few songs. It hasn't left my car's CD player in 6 months. Last week I discovered that it has a hidden track. After you think track 11 finishes, wait 2-3 min and another great song will begin! It was a big surprise the first time I heard it!

There are a few tracks off this album that I have heard from some friends of mine that have the album. I was immediatly convinced that I had to have it. I cannot wait to hear the rest.
