Perhaps it's just me, but when I bought this book as a gift for a serious Morgan horse fan I thought I was buying a detailed history of the breed, etc. At the asking price, I couldn't imagine it being anything _but_ a serious study of the subject. This turned out to be a kid's book, however. There's nothing at all wrong with kid's books, but it should've been labeled more clearly. I ended giving it anyway as a gag gift, when I wanted to give something serious. What a waste of money!
