Product Description

The Morgan Monroe Creekside series MMV-5 mini 6 is a jumbo style mini guitar with a 22 1/2" scale length that keeps up with the big dreadnaughts while having a voice all its own! The uses for this guitar are endless: live, studio or as the perfect travel companion. Starting with a solid sitka spruce top, set neck (not screwed on like some lesser small guitars), mahogany back and sides, 1 11/16" bone nut, bone saddle, Rosewood fretboard and bridge then finished down to the essence of simplicity with the classic Creekside open grain tobacco finish yet without all the needless frills, the Creekside MMV-5 is truly something to experience. This little gem comes to you in a heavy duty padded gig bag and will definitely surprise you at what a great guitar that it is for so little money!

Great and loud little guitar. Took it camping and the volume definitely kept up with comparable Martin next to me and even with larger dreadnaughts. Easy action. No complaints here.

I can not say enough good things about this little guitar. Very well made. No flaws are evident. Beautiful finish. Action is low. Plays smooth. Sounds like a much larger guitar.Good sustain. Gig bag is well made and substantial. I play fingerstyle guitar, and it is well suited for this purpose.

First off, I've been "playing at it" for about 45 years and own/have owned many guitars. While this one is smaller than I expected, (I'd say it's a 3/4) I soon discovered what a great playing and sounding little instrument it is. Solid as a rock, and with a neck just wide enough for my old, sausage-fingered paws to easily move around on. With bone nut and saddle, good quality open-gear tuning machines, and a WOODEN headstock logo, I've decided it's a keeper.

I love this guitar! It is of great quality considering that it is Asia-made. Looks, plays, and stays in tune like a much more expensive instrument. This is a perfect instrument for a beginner/intermediate player.
