Digitally remastered and expanded edition of this 1976 album from the British Pop trio including bonus tracks. Signed to EMI in April 1974, consummate musicians David Paton/Billy Lyall/Stuart Tosh expertly meshed catchy tunes, punchy guitars and strong harmonies to score major international success with three albums in three years. This third album was recorded at Morin Heights in Quebec, Canada and this time had Roy Thomas Baker (Queen) producing. Heavier Power Pop sound and songwriting contributions from more band members mark this album as a progression. It still retains the Pilot stamp of quality, and yielded a major hit in the single 'Penny In My Pocket' . This edition features the demo version from David Paton's archive, together with three more unreleased songs as bonus tracks. RPM. 2009. --This text refers to an alternate Audio CD edition.

This is definitely one of my Desert-Island-Disks. A must for anyone who enjoys great harmonies and pure melody. Remember music lovers, David Paton and Ian Bairnson of Pilot have been ( and Ian still is!) the core of the creative genius behind the Alan Parsons Project. Morin Heights is Pilot's Abbey Road!

Pilot is perhaps best known for the single "Magic" (not on this album) and for being the distinctive sound of the Alan Parsons Project. However, this overlooked album from 1976 is a really great musical achievement. Every song is a gem. Pilot has never sounded better, and the production work from Roy Thomas Baker is second to none. Highly recommended.

Brilliant production that is clean yet strong, teamed with classic pop song writing that comes together in one of the few truley classic 1970's albums. Every track is a refreshing part of the whole. A must listen from start to finish. An experience that doesn't come along that often in rock music these days.
