Morley A/B Switch,
This review is from: Morley ABY Selector Combiner Routing & Switching Device (Electronics)
I bought this switch for live performances. I use two acoustic guitars with different tunings and this switch enables me to channel them through the same pedal array. It works perfectly and is very durable. There is no 'pop' when switching and the switch itself does not induce any noise. I am very satisfied with this product.

I don't hear any noticeable affects on the sound. It's battery powered, but the battery is only needed to power the LED lights - so one 9v battery can last well over a year. It does have a problem with making an electronic pop sound when you switch from one channel to another. In some situations, the pop is barely audible. In others, it's cringe-inducingly loud. It seems to be based on the electrical situation of the room you're playing in.

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Morley ABY Selector Combiner Routing & Switching Device (Electronics)
I have used a Morley ABY switch to route 2 guitars to 1 amp for about 20 years. For that application they are hard to beat. Quiet, transparent, built to last, and reasonably priced. I just got one for my wife (bass player) to switch between 2 basses (alternate tuning) and she has been quite pleased with it. For our use only one button (A or B) gets used. Stepping on the wrong button (A and B) may cause feedback, but you learn quickly which button to use. I have never used the Morley ABY switch to switch one guitar between 2 amps so I can't speak to that.
