I remember listening to Come, Come Ye Saints on a L.P. when I was growing up and really being so captivated by it. I was thrilled when I heard that was on a CD with so many of their other treasures. This is a must have for those who really appreciate choral works.

The old LP treasure had seen better days since I purchased it new in the early sixties. This is one of the finest collections of Morman and traditional hymns the choir has recorded with major orchestras, organists and choir director Richard B. Condie.

The origional liner notes for the LP give a brief history of composers and songs that enrich the album. This is the only loss on CD. The record transfers to CD as if it were a digital source.

I absolutely love this music. Of course, this CD was remastered from the original from many, many years ago so the sound is not as rich as newer recordings, but the selections are classic and some of the best of the Tab Choir, and cannot be heard any other way. I just wish they would remaster a few more of the oldies.
