Only God Can Unscramble Scrambled Eggs,
This review is from: The Morning After (God's Timing Series, Book 2) (Paperback)
This book picks up where "3:57 Timing is Everything" left off. It's been a year since the death of Ms. Essie Mae Richarson and she was most known for her phrase "God's Timing is Everything." She watched and observed her neighbors and would offer Godly advice into their lives. Her prayers brought redemption and solutions to their problems.Colin and Angel are still married, but, what is the source of the lack of interest in their relationship? Jennifer is overjoyed at the turnaround of her wannabe gangster son Jerrod, but what threatens to send him back down the wrong path? Elaine's husband says he forgives her of her affair, but does he? Each of these characters misses Ms Essie and wishes for one more opportunity to seek her advice. But, now that she's gone will they "run" to God or allow the devil to win? How will they keep from losing what is most important without their anchor (Ms. Essie Mae Richardson)? God's timing is everything and His desire is for us to "run" to Him - pray & wait!!! Enjoy

God's Perfect Timing,
By The RAWSISTAZ Reviewers (RAWSISTAZ.com and BlackBookReviews.net) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Morning After (God's Timing Series, Book 2) (Paperback)
Seventy-seven-year old Ms. Essie Mae Richardson was well respected in the Braxton Parks community. Her prayers for the troubled people in the community lead to their deliverance. But, the morning after her untimely death, the lives she prayed for began to quickly fall apart.Angel can't get over the guilt and regret she feels for not saying goodbye to the woman she loved like a mother. Her husband, Colins misses the closeness they shared and expresses his frustrations to his assistant, unaware of her ulterior motives. Elaine is baffled as to why her husband has refused to move back into their bedroom, after he forgave her a year ago for her infidelities. She patiently gives him more time, but feels him pulling further away. Her plan to bring him closer may kill her. Ms. Essie Mae's love and prayers reclaimed Jerrod from a life of crime. However, because of her untimely death and the shocking surprise which has come into his life, he may resort back to the streets. A skillfully written and emotionally charged masterpiece, THE MORNING AFTER captivates the reader with its plausible story line. As the story unfolds, the reader will witness the characters letting go of God's unchanging hands, and the trouble they're allowing into their lives. The emotions of the characters were effortlessly conveyed as I could feel their emotional pains, sorrows, and joy. Although, I did not read the prequel, 3:57 A.M. Timing is Everything, I felt THE MORNING AFTER could be read as a stand alone, but to get the full understanding of the characters reading the prequel would be a good idea. God's Delivering Power,
By Renee Allen Mccoy (USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Morning After (God's Timing Series, Book 2) (Paperback)
The second installment to Three Fifty-Seven AM of the God's Timing Series, The Morning After unfolds the interesting lives of seven individuals. Entering the worlds of TK, Jennifer, Jerrod, Angel, Colin, Elaine, and Mason anyone could identify with them in one way or another. Whether you've experienced the death of a loved one, infidelity, health concerns, or communication problems this book touches on them all.(Excerpt from Kendra Norman-Bellamy's site: About the Book) "When Essie Mae Richardson, the pillar of her upscale community, died a year ago, life for the residents who befriended her took a drastic turn...for the worse. The morning before Essie's death, it was business as usual in the Braxton Park subdivision. The morning after her death, every thread that held the friends and neighbors together begins to unravel..." As I read this story, I enjoyed how each chapter flowed into the next so much that it seemed as if it were written by one individual rather than two. The vivid imagery painted a mental picture making it easy to feel the characters' emotions and visualize their body language. I love movies and could easily see this one fleshed out in film putting me in the mind of the notable Women of Brewster's Place. I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys reading about God's delivering power no matter what the circumstance...He is indeed able. Rating 3.5
