This album has to be one of Sandi's best. Her voice is just incredible and her energy and faith are contagious.

I would be misleading if I didn't say right up front that Sandi's music will always have a special place in my heart because of how the Lord used it in my life. I was very sick in the hospital with all kinds of medical complications and it was during that time that I started listening to Sandi's music. I had a tape player right in my hospital bed and sometimes hung onto it as if holding on for dear life while the Lord used Sandi's music to draw me closer to Himself.

The album starts up with an upbeat "Let There Be Praise". "Hosanna" is a great one for the Easter season - our kids sang in a Youth Choir that did that song on Palm Sunday. "Love in Any Language" has been used for voice auditions, "Face to Faith" was a Marching Band song, of all things, and let's not forget the title track! "Morning Like This" helps us understand the wonder and excitement of those who went running to the tomb only to find it empty. The picture painted in the lyrics of the grass and the earth singing out is a powerful image indeed. "Over and over like a trumpet underground, Did the earth seem to pound, 'He is risen?'"

"In the Name of the Lord" has to be one of my favorite Sandi songs ever. Sandi also co-wrote this one.

Then there are the softer, slower ballads that speak to your heart: "Unshakable Kingdom", "Shepherd of my Heart", and "There is a Savior".

Sandi's great vocals combined with lush orchestrations make this an excellent CD to listen to if you want to deepen your walk with the Lord!

If you think Christian music should be slow and reserved, if you get this CD, please skip the first 2 tracks. Either that, or get with it and start tapping your foot. Even better, work on your air drum routine to some great drum licks. On Hosanna, Sandi takes the lead and Second Chapter of Acts backs her up. The rest of the CD slows down some, but it is greatly uplifting.

This album is well written, well mixed, and most of all, well performed.

I have every one of Sandi's releases and this is the best one. Every track on this CD is a winner: great music, great voice, great message! So many of these songs became hits and are still concert favorites.

The CD opens with "Let there be Praise", an upbeat song that starts things rolling. It is followed up with another uptempo number, "Hosanna" with Second Chapter of Acts doing background vocals. Known for her power ballads, Sandi delivers with "Unshakable Kingdom" and "In the Name of the Lord," the 1987 song of the year. There are also quiet songs like "Shepard of my Heart" and "There is a Savior."

This is the an incredible CD! Don't pass this one up.

Sandi Patti. WOW I always get the chills when I listen to her voice. It's just beautiful! My Favorite on this CD is "In the Name of the Lord" I want to listen to it over and over. :-) But I must say her best songs are called "Upon this Rock" "We Shall Behold Him" and "Star Spangled Banner". I don't know where those songs are located. But I recommend Sandi Patti to just about anybody.

I have to add my highest praise for this album. I believe it is her best compilation...I only wish her version of the "Star Spangled Banner" was included. Her voice is superb; just when you think she's at her apex, she changes key again and soars even higher. A great and gifted artist.

I have been a Sandi Patty fan since the 1980s. This was the first album of hers I ever purchased. It was so long ago it was vinyl. Her music is full of great lyrics and great messages. Her voice is fantastic. There are no bad songs on this cd. Once again there are upbeat songs like, "King Of Glory", and "Hosanna", and beautiful ballads like, "Shepherd Of My Heart", and "There Is A Savior". There is the majestic sounding, "Unshakable Kingdom", and the jazzy sounding, "Face To Faith", on which Sandi proves she would've made a great jazz singer as well. And of course the lyrics of Love In Any Language are some of my favorites, "Love in any language, straight from the heart, pulls us all together, never apart, and once we learn to speak it, all the world will hear, love in any language, fluently spoken here". What wonderful lyrics. This is about as good as inspirational music gets.

And you're right! Sandi Patty's music is annointed.

I have been a backslided Christian for a long time. Recently, everything in my life starts to fall apart and I have never felt so defeated and alone in my life. One morning, I picked up Sandi Patty's Morning Like This accidentally and the song that came out of my headphone was Shepherd of My Heart, tears started to flow from my eyes and the feeling of loneliness and being defeated was gone. Thank you, Sandi Patty - Coz it was a morning like this that I have given my life back to the Shepherd of My Heart.

I love this CD! These songs are classics and some of Patty's best work.

I love the message that each song indivdualy portays. Each song if you notice does in afact have some scripture background. Sandi Patti's voice is unique and very beautiful.I had the cassette for the longest time, and my tape player ate it .To tell you the truth I cried. If you do not have this cd you my friend are missing out on a blessing from God.Take my advice get it right away and you too will be truly blessed.
