I have owned The Nature of Music by Maureen McCarthy Draper for a while but found it difficult to appreciate her words without the music to accompany it. Well I finally bought the discs to go with the book and it has made such a wonderful difference to my understanding of what I am reading. I am enjoying the book again, but this time I am really getting the message that Ms McCarthy Draper was writing about and for that I thank her. Not only do I listen while reading but I enjoy the music at any time and it makes me smile as I remember what it is all about and the meaning behind the score. I recommend that you purchase and enjoy the books and cds to enhance your listening of the classics.
