The plot lacks integrity. There are so many errors that made me wander if the book had been edited at all! Sidney Sheldon, the best author in the world, will not disappoint any of his readers with this book. Morning, Noon, and Night is another intriguing, fast-paced thriller. There are innumerable plot twists, and the end is no less shocking. As with most of Sheldon's books, every chapter ended with a cliffhanger, keeping the reader interested in what the next chapter will bring.

This book revolves around a very wealthy and influential family known as the Stanfords. When the father dies, his children, the three heirs to the fortune, are shocked to find that they may have and illegitimate sister with whom they must share their wealth. This family carries out all of the major components of a great action novel: murder, revenge, greed, blackmail, and a splash of romance.

Although shorter than the average Sidney Sheldon novel, Morning Noon and Night has no less an impact. The short nature of the book actually gives it a sense of urgency. A combination of these elements kept me constantly reading. I finished this book in a little more than four hours.

Morning, Noon, and Night is a masterpiece, even for an author as brilliant as sheldon. No Sheldon fan will be disappointed with this work.

Mr. Sheldon seems to be a very talanted story teller who just needs a better editor. This was my first Sidney Sheldon book, and it would have been the last except that based on the good reviews that I've read here on Amazon , I'm willing to give his "Master of the Game" or "Rage of Angles" a try.

5.0 out of 5 stars Spellbinding thriller!, September 28, 2000

Morning, Noon and Night is another spellbinding thriller from Sheldon. The ending is explosive, with intriguing twists, turns, and subplots along the way. As with all of Sheldon's books, I have to finish them in one day, as I cannot bear to NOT know what the next chapter will bring!

The ending is a shocker, as it is with all of Sheldon's books, with all of the character's "secrets" unraveling and exposed. Sheldon is great at keeping the reader cleverly baited until the very end. Sheldon sort of deviates from his typical strong main heroine character type on this tale and casts his light instead on four heirs to their father's massive fortune, with one of the heirs being illegitimate. Murder, mayhem, revenge, greed, blackmail, and hate all cast their hooks in this one, with some romance thrown in. As usual, the reader gets immediately drawn into the mystery and gets completely knocked off course just when you think you have figured out "who did it"! The action is non-stop!

This book will not disappoint any Sheldon fans and I found it to be one of his best.

MORNING, NOON, AND NIGHT is another great book from Sidney Sheldon. The story starts out with the introduction of Harry Stanford, one of the most powerful and richest men in the world. During a cruise on his private yacht he falls over (or is he pushed?) and drowns. His children, who have had little to do with him or each other for a great part of their lives, are now reunited. They come to find out what their father left them, if anything, and they soon discover some shocking news: there is a 4th sibling, Julia, who claims she is an heir to the estate. Do they believe her? Or is she an imposter?

This is one of Sidney Sheldon's better books. I highly recommend it!

Yet another good one fron Sheldon.

Harry Stanford, a billionaire dies leaving his fortune to his three children , judge Tyler , fashion designer Kendall and polo player Woody. His children reunite after their father's death and find out that his will states that his fortune should also be shared with his illegimate daughter Julia.

It turns out that Julia's mom had been their nanny but she leaves after her employer makes her pregnant. After that,Julia and her mom live in a different place away from Harry Stanford.Meanwhile Mrs.Harry Stanford commits suicide, not being able to bear the humiliation her husband has bestowed upon her. Tyler, Kendall and Woody blame their father for their mother's death ( which is very correct).

Now will Julia come seeking for her fortune?

A must read.

5.0 out of 5 stars 5 Star Book, April 7, 2003
By
I have never read a book like,"Morning, Noon, and Night." Sidney Sheldon did an exquisite job on the plot. The story revolved around a billion dollar man named Harry Stanford. He had four children. Three by his wife and one by another woman he had an affair with. Harry was brutal towards his children. He had no faith in them and had no love for them. His wife committed suicide no longer after Harry's affair. She could tolerate his abuse no longer. Stanford was in for it big time. Many people were out to get him. Only, the outcome of his death is the most crucial part of the book. I will put it this way: Stanford had a will that was being divided three ways, or maybe even four.

The content was a definate pleasure in the story. Fraud, suicide, murder, drugs, sex,and swearing were main points. The most surprising of all the themes is undeniably the fraud. Sidney Sheldon described the fraud so flawlessly, that even the closest reader could not have caught the drift. His tricks on your mind threw the curves desired in a priceless novel. The suicides were undoubtfully enormous cases of irony. Irony just makes a story twice as much fun. Last but not least, advanced audiences aren't left out. The sexuality and sexual themes were existant and quite vivid. These themes makes a premium read that much better.

I definately, recommend this book,"Morning, Noon, and Night", to anyone and everyone. Sheldon, unmistakenably, has the most original style I have ever seen a writer have. Sheldon has major capacity and skills. It's a quick read, because it never drops to a broing read. Also, a reader must read and comprehend most details. It always leaves you thinking and guessing. This book, is one of the best I have ever read, and I do indeed recommend this book to everyone who is literate.

3.0 out of 5 stars Certainly not his best, July 31, 2000
As an avid Sidney Sheldon fan, I was somewhat disappointed with this book. It is a good book, but I have come to expect greatness in his novels. It was much too short and the characters were not as developed as I would've liked. It cannot compare with "The Rage of Angels" or "If Tomorrow Comes." Still, it would be a good read if you are short on time. Sidney Sheldon is still the king. He certainly knows how to twist and turn his plots!

5.0 out of 5 stars And to Think It All Started With "The Naked Face"..., January 14, 2006
THE NAKED FACE was amatuerish when I look back at all that Sydney Sheldon has done since then. Since "The Other Side of Midnight" I have had a bias toward Sydney Sheldon's writing style. He is brilliant. The book shines again...and makes you wonder what all is in that mind of his. Getting older seems to move him toward his best. The way he introduces you to the characters in a way that makes you love them, hate them, not trust them, pity them...have numerous emotions about them...so much so that you WANT to know the story. The story almost becomes an aside. You need to know the characters' stories by the time you know them. He takes you all over the world...you travel to places you never dreamed of...and you are completely in Sydney Sheldon's world while your read. Read his entire collection. It is time well spent...and such entertainment!

5.0 out of 5 stars Couldn't put it down!, August 14, 2002

(REAL NAME)
I read this book in less than 3 days, and I enjoyed every page. This is the story about a very rich man named Hary Stanford who dies a mysterious death by drowning. Seeing that he had children, he left them all an equal share of his billions of dollars. However, a woman named Julia shows up shortly after claiming to be a product of the affair between Harry and the housekeeper named Rosemary. The will states that each of his children will recieve an equal amount of his money, Julia is just as entitled to it.

I don't want to go much further or else I'll spoil the plot, but I just want to say that this book reminds me of the movie Nurse Betty, because every event is more surprising and ironic as the last. It is a very exciting story which will keep you on the edge of your seat up to the last word.

I have just recently within the last few months started to read Sidney Sheldon books. My first was The Sky is Falling and I thought that was very good. I have read a few since then with my latest being Morning Noon and night. It was one of those books that just keeps you reeling, wondering what is going to happen next. there is no way that you could figure it out, cuz Sidney always takes you for a loop. This is a definate keeper and a 5 star book. I hope someday to read all of his books. They really keep you thinking so much that you just can't put them down.
