Not Worth The Price,

This review is from: Morningstar ETF 150: 2008 (Morningstar Etfs 150) (Paperback)
Only 150 ETF's are covered. I would have been happier if every ETF was covered. Since this book is a snapshot in time, the data is outdated soon after publication. ETF's are relatively new. Only a very small number have been around long enough to have gone through a market cycle so we can only speculate what will happen if this market continues to do poorly or worse crashes. One great feature of ETF's is their low fees. Unless you have a huge sum of money to invest you could just buy the S&P 500 ETF or the Vanguard Total Stock Market ETF plus a Foreign ETF. That should take a couple of hours and then you wouldn't ever look at this book again.

It does a great job summarizing top rated ETFs. It can be a better resource if some recommended alternative models targeting different goals are added.
