Beautiful and not disappointing
I do not understand the other reviews of this book. The patterns are exquisite and diversified, and has whetted my appetite for more knowledge about the subject. I plan to use the designs (albeit simplified) in designing my own knitted objects and rugs. I recommend the book to anyone who cannot live without glorious color and design.

Not as Varied as Expected
I was excited that this book was in color and could not wait to recieve it, but was very disappointed. Not only did all the fabrics seem similar, but I felt the patterns were not very different from one example to the next.

I bought this book and was very excited to recieve it...... unfortunately I was disapointed.... it was not what I expected.... usually I like the Dover books.... I am not sure if I like this one.... it feels out-dated and everything (patterns and color palettes) look the same.
