Eh...It's not exactly fabulous.,

I am a hair product junkie and this just didn't quite give me a fix. It's basically Frizz-ease with some added Argan oil. I was expected a higher concentration of the Argan oil, but it's 5th on the list of ingredients - a fair amount, but not for what you are paying. (the top 5 ingredients of any item are basically what make the product) If something is going to be called 'Moroccan Oil', you'd expect it to be just that, right?
It's very smoothing (hence the silcones at the top of the list of ingredients). Silicones will build on the hair and will eventually have to be stripped with a detoxing shampoo to remove the build-up. I have virgin naturally curly bi-racial hair with a fine texture (think R&B singer Mya). Silicone build-up on curly hair can be the devil so curlies beware. The smell is not too bad. Kind of musky. Just glad that I purchased through Amazon and got a great deal (50% of the normal price). All in all, it Will suffice for a quick fix for minor frizz, but definitely not a 'treatment'. For that, I highly recommend Eden Allure. They have 100% pure Argan oil available and it doubles as skin care. (not affiliated-just a lover of natural products) Speaking of which, Moroccal oil has color additives (D&C Yellow 11 and Red 17).

By BSM (Ashford, CT USA) - See all my reviews I colored my hair last night and woke up to dull dry hair. I used this as above and I can't get over how healthy and shiny it looks today.

The seal was broken on this product and it was not the real moroccan oil. I have the real oil and it smelled differently and worked differently. Don't buy! Worst part is that this can't be returned. I am VERY unhappy with the inability to return a false product. I was ripped off!!!!!!!!! DO NOT BUY!

Not Moroccan oil,

I've been using this product for awhile and have bought numerous bottles at salons. When I received this in the mail, the seal was not intact and despite looking like the actual oil, it smelled horrible and I had to wash my hands a few times to get rid of the cologne-like stench.

BEST PRODUCT EVER!!!!!! LOVE IT!!!!,
I just bought this product a week ago after seeing amazing reviews about it on the local news. My hair is naturally coarse, with split ends. Over the years, I have spent a lot of money and used many different styling products to try and achieve shine, softness and natural movement. (These products eventually added so much build-up in my hair, leaving it heavy and with little movement). I have been using MOROCCANOIL for a week now, and oh my gosh from the first use, my hair was shiny, silky, and full of movement!!! As the week went on, my hair got even better - even the split ends don't stand out, because the tips of my hair are soft and shiny, and flow with my hair since i started using this product!!!
I wash and towel-dry my hair, put a DIME SIZED amount of morrocan oil in my palm and rub it into my hair and scalp, then use my hot air brush. My hair is so healthy and soft throughout the day, it feels SO nice to put my hands through it! Best of all, it's NOT oily, and there is NO BUILDUP!!! If your hair is not washed, then wet it with water, put a dime-sized amount of moroccanoil in it, blow-dry and style or use your straightening iron or hot air brush and style, you will be amazed!!!

Light and Shiny - Even for Baby Fine Hair + No STATIC,
By
This review is from: Moroccan Oil Hair Treatment 3.4 Oz Bottle with Blue Box (Health and Beauty)
I have long hair (almost waist length)that is foil wrapped (highlighted) every 6 weeks and my hair texture is baby fine but lots of it so blow drying without frying it can be a challenge. I've used other "tamer" type products in the past but they seem geared only towards those with naturally curly, coarse type hair or something and weigh my baby locks down. This product gives me shine without weight and the very best thing, especially in winter, is that I'm not left with TONS of static cling in my hair after blow drying. It also seems to protect my hair from the heat of the blow dryer.
This has worked for me even in the most humid weather. Another good thing is this product is so light that after using, I can curl my normally straight hair and it WILL curl and the curls last just as if I didn't use the product and I cannot say that about any other "tamer" type product I've ever used. The only downside to this product is that it is somewhat expensive but I've found that even though I do have lots of hair, a little less than a dime sized amount is plenty to get the results I want so the bottle does last a long time for me. Just pour a small amount in your hand, rub your palms together and apply to your hair. I do my ends first and work my way up to the crown, then blow dry as normal.

It Was Fake,

When I received the Moroccanoil, half of it spilled in the box. When I smelled it- it smelled like cheap perfumed oil- not like real Moroccanoil. I have ordered it several times before and I know what the real Moroccanoil smells like and this was not it. Obviously, if the cap was loose in the first place somebody was messing with the product. The bottle should've been sealed. Amazon did refund me for the product though so that was nice.
