Moroccanoil is the absolute best thing I have ever bought for my hair. I cannot say enough good things about it. Recently I had bought it on Amazon, trying to save on shipping. The product I received was NOT the real morrocanoil! It smells like straight baby oil and left my hair dull. I called the moroccanoil company and they told me the product was likely fake. Then I read the box of the fake bottle, and the font is different, and the R, for registered trademark is missing from the fake. I called Amazon, and they said they were aware of the issue and were trying to log enough complaints to take the fake product off the shelf. Be careful!

Like other recent reviews, mine arrived leaking all over the box. I've been using Moroccanoil for over a year and it is an amazing product. The bottle I received from Amazon was not the real thing - the smell, the texture of the oil, the color of the oil - everything was off. As someone else pointed out, the font on the bottle and box is similar but not the same, and it is missing the trademark symbol by the name. It's not the real Moroccanoil! I am extremely disappointed in Amazon. After reading some of the recent reviews, it has obviously been brought to Amazon's attention yet they don't seem to be doing anything about it. I argued with their customer rep about it's authenticity and while she did refund my money, she would only mark the reason for refund as "damaged product". I am going to report this to the Moroccanoil company. What a disappointing experience with Amazon!

I absolutely LOVE Moroccanoil...it has changed my hair dramatically. But be forewarned...if ordering here, IT IS NOT THE REAL THING! It arrived and had leaked all over the packaging and the shipping box. When I opened it, I could tell immediately it is not authentic...Moroccanoil has a wonderful scent and this product smelled completely different. It was clearly evident the bottle had been refilled with some other product and a very lame attempt at resealing it was made (label loose, tape hanging off). When I called, Amazon refunded my money. But do NOT buy this product here! It is bogus! I'll have to bite the bullet and buy it at the salon. It is an awesome product when it's the real deal!
