Morrocco Method is a shampoo I've used for a while now and I can't even begin to explain what's it done for my hair. My hair used to be really dry and crackly sounding when I brushed it while wet after a shower, even after using deep conditioners. Now when I go to brush it, the brush just glides right through my hair with zero resistance. My hair also used to break off at shoulder length and I can tell this shampoo is giving it a chance to grow because it's getting longer than it has since I was a kid.

Please understand this is NOT like "normal" shampoos. It does not lather at all, and you really have to re-learn how to wash and condition your hair. I really like the smell, but that is subjective from person to person. I love the smell of natural, earthy ingredients, but a lot of people do not. As for the 'icky, brown' consistency description I've read in other reviews...come on. I'd rather have an 'icky brown' wild crafted organic, chemical free shampoo then one full of phthalates, formaldehyde and sodium lauryl sulfate that was a pretty, clear blue color.

As for the price, you get what you pay for people. With the types of ingredients, care, effort, and time that goes into each bottle I'm surprised it doesn't cost more. It's worth every penny, I'm a customer for life!

This shampoo will do wonders for your hair and I highly recommend trying it.

When I first tried this product it left my wet hair feeling like it was greasy and still dirty and I had to wash it out with shampoo to feel normal. But then a few months later I tried once actually using the product as intended - putting a small amount in, scrubbing it into my hair with the non-lather product, until it felt like it was dirtier than when I started, and letting the wet mop dry completely. Amazingly the greasy feeling just evaporated as my hair dried and left my hair and scalp feeling super clean and not greasy at all, but also not dried out and thicker and healthier. I am not sure how this works, but it seems to be very tiny particles in the mud like product that pull the dirt off your hair and it seems to actually stay in my hair and keep working throughout the day. It is an excellent product but you have to be willing to give it a real try and it is counter-intuitive. Your hair will actually feel like it is still dirty until you let it dry. Glad I figured it out.

This shampoo is purely organic, and that means no fillers like petroleum, sulfates, dyes, perfumes and a hundred other ingredients that are not that great for us. Unfortunatly, that also means that this product looks weird (like mud) and doesn't foam (no sulfates). Even thought MM doesn't use perfumes, this shampoo smells amazing - like cinammon apples.

I decided to try organic shampoos and MM specifically after I was diagnosed with psoriasis several years ago (and the RX wasn't working). I stumbled across Morrocco Method and couldn't believe the amazing reviews from magazines and bloggers. I bought their trial shampoos, and I had to retrain myself on how to wash my hair. Fortunately, the results were amazing. My psoriasis disappeared and my hair was so soft and full of bounce (I have dry fine hair). I highly recommend trying it if you want to go organic and have an open mind about what shampoo really looks like without fillers. I know that I'll be sticking with Morrocco Method forever.

I try to use products that ewg.org has tested as non toxic. I am a Morrocan Method convert. I use their Blond Henna Hair Color and all their shampoos and the Instant Conditioner. Yes it is brown but so what. I put some on my hands and thin it with the water on my hands and then wash my hair. I do this twice. Then the conditioner. My hair is so soft and natural looking. I like the earthy smell. If you order directly from Morrocan Method, it is cheaper and sometimes they have sales. Price wise, it is cheaper because you do not have to wash your hair as often. The Hair Color is great and much cheaper than a salon.

I love all of the MM shampoos, but this is my favorite by far. Having naturally curly hair, it's never been "wash and go". I used to have to add tons of gel (icky) or use a hair straightener (damaging) to get good looking hair. Well, now I'm happy to say I have "wash and go" hair. I wash with this or one of the other MM shampoos, use the pearl essence creme rinse as conditioner, and use the diamond crystal mist as a leave in conditioner and let it air dry. That's it! No more awful gels, heavy conditioners that weigh my hair down, or damaging heat tools. I can't say enough how much I love these products, they've saved my hair and my sanity.

I have recently been on the hunt for true natural products and considered making my own until I stumbled upon Morocco Method. Yes, it is a very different shampoo that does not sud. To those who are used to the mainstream products, I would compare it to only putting conditioner on your hair - a creamy, non-sudsing consistency. If you find that your hair might feel more matted or oily after the first several times after using this product and this is because your hair is going through a 'detox' phase. According to Morocco Method website, "You are experiencing hair detox. Build-up from chemical products are clogging the pores of your scalp and shafts of your hair and must be removed before you can begin your healthy hair journey. As your hair begins to "let go" of plastics, -cones, and chemicals, you will notice some changes in your hair. You may also notice some changes with your scalp as you experience detox. With the natural botanicals in MM shampoos (and lack of chemicals!) your scalp will begin to regulate its own oil production naturally. This may mean you experience an overly dry OR overly oily scalp. Give your scalp time to readjust and re-regulate its own oil production".

After using this shampoo for about a month, I noticed that my hair still has a slightly different 'matted' feel, however it has done WONDERS for my scalp. I no longer have itchy scalp and I noticed that my hair falls out a LOT less in the shower. With this, I intend to continue on using this shampoo since I noticed a lot of the positive differences it is making to my hair. Fanstastic product for those who want to transition from the chemical-ridden to the all-natural way!
