A great show. They are hard core, yet compassionate and often thoughtful to their fellow zoomates. Great story lines that keeps you laughing. This is a cartoon that appeals to any age. The kids will love the antics, while the adults can easily catch the humorous jokes of the characters.

The writers do a great job in creating dialogue that is entertaining to both kids and adults. You can always find that obvious comedic reference mixed with a subtle innuendo to life that you just can't help but laugh at.

The penguins were definitely one of my favorite elements of the Madagascar franchise, and their peculiar characters, camaraderie, and overall chemistry are transferred well to the small screen in this series.

Even as a near middle-aged adult, I love this show. It's clever, warm, and fun. My favorite characters are the penguins, but is there a more lovable narcissist in all of fiction than King Julien?

I know of children that are only allowed to watch ONE channel on their televisions, and it's a mind numbing, endless line of bland animation centered singly on educational themed material. E' gads...its horrid. I realize that today's society frowns upon children wasting time in front of a tv; no one wants their kid being a couch potato. BUT, instead of correcting our own mistakes through our children, it is imperative to remember that part of childhood is about having fun. A well adjusted child, is a happy child. This animated spin-off from the MADAGASCAR trio is a real treat! It's smart, it's funny, and there is good morals like friendship and honesty mixed in there with the escapades of these commando-super penguins. I myself never "grew up" when it comes to.animation (just look at my profile; it's full of the stuff) I still rush out and buy the latest, and the MADAGASCAR trio is an absolute favorite of mine. In that colourful tale, a lion, a zebra, a hippo, and a giraffe romp around the world, and the penguins antics in the movie was such a hit that they made this spin-off. The penguins have a hilarious time in the New York Central Park Zoo. I would urge any parent to watch an episode or two. You'll see what I mean. This is not some brainless slapstick. Your child will LOVE these segments. And you don't have to worry about their minds turning to mush because the PENGUINS OF MADAGASCAR are witty, and funny and they instill fundamental values along with imagination! Not only will your kids love you for getting them these episodes, but YOU will love the PENGUINS too! As the Skipper says, "cute and cuddly boys."

There is a lot of contemporary wit in POM. The writing is great too! The characters get progressively established and you will enjoy every subsequent episode that much more as a result.

These guys are pretty funny. My kids enjoy watching them. However, King Julian sometimes says inappropriate things and uses adult innuendos. I end up discerning these things with my kids.
